Yeah we were 5/30 but the beauty of our side (as compared to paralowie for example) is we bat well and truly all the way down.

Only need to look over our scores all season, we post reasonable totals every week - and its not always the top order either..

Carey... you play for Paralowie then.... didnt know that! Think i may have played against you one game!!

PG, stop lying you dont bat all the way down, Feltus bats at 4 doesn't he?? Thats a long tail :p

All this shows is how average grade 4 is! How many of these partnerships were against sides like Wasleys or Salis North?

LM, either you are optimistic about your teams chances......or
you are taking a calculated risk in a bid to make ground in the tips.....or
you got on the very attractive odds in a side bet, which the bookie made. ;)

Funny stuff, is that Brookes from Eastern Park? Did Brenton get him out to R&C?

Smithfield have the capabilities, they just haven't fired a shot yet, Hannun, Goulding, Morris, Taylor, Bickle, Newman and Tuckwell are all capable of posting a decent score and there's enough other batsmen around them, they have underachieved so far. Would've been good to see Mathews elavated to the A's, didn't happen though.
The Lodge's strength isn't their bowling, if we can shelve the creative shots early on in our innings' and someone can put their hand up, we can post a decent total and put the pressure on the Lodge.
Infact I'll put 10 cyber bucks on Morris into the win.
