Harry, you're kidding yourself saying both games are in the balance. Good Runs on the board come finals time is worth gold. I'd say the teams batting first this game are a 90% chance of making the GF making it the Roys V PV at the big dance. In saying that, Good Luck to the teams chasing tomorrow and if either of those sides get the runs required, it will be a brave performance.

So once you join the Exec you can't have an opinion..?? Not spinny's fault they couldn't run a chook raffle and are full of trophy hunters (except for Gully coz he's too lazy to give a stuff.. ).

I watched about 30mins of the Div 5 GF last year and I've never wanted to pull the whites on again as much as I did that day. Some old, lippy tool for Enfield bowling half rat-power pies was carrying on like a friggin' pork chop and getting into batsmen's faces after just about every ball. When I was still playing they didn't make grounds big enough to contain the innocuous garbage he was sending down. Would've sent that right arm trash into orbit, let alone over the fence.............after I shoved the bat down his oversized gob... There's only one thing worse than a poor loser and that's a poor winner.

Just for the record, I'd like to state that I've met some great Enfield people over the years and have full respect for those people, but the way the Club has been run in recent times is an abomination.

As has been said, I'd rather have 2 sides of blokes who play for their Club & challenge themselves to play at the highest level they possibly can, than 4 sides consisting of a high proportion of selfish blokes running their own agendas and would rather be a big fish in a small pond, than challenge themselves against equal or better opposition. Enfield were a Div 1 powerhouse when I first joined this comp and to see where they are and what they represent almost 20yrs later is quite sad really. Wal' Johnson would be turning in his grave..
