That was a possibility. He became good mates with Bluey when Bluey played for Smithfield, Raed's work might take him interstate for periods of time aswell. I don't think he'll play all season but I think he'll play at Smithfield when available.

Have heard a few others but about other clubs.

I've heard.
Super staying at EP.
Super coaching Smithfield.
Super having a year off.
Super returning to umpiring.
Rory to CU.
Ian Williamson to CU.
Hillier to EP.
Tuckwell to Smithfield.
2 x Tuckwell to EP.
Hannun to CU.
Keylock to CU.
Keylock to R&C.

Just a few off the top of my head........Oh, Knapp to get a Redbacks contract. ;)

I heard that one to from the man himself. Not sure what Rory is doing BUT would be very suprised if he left EP. Ian 'EASY' Williamson isnt going anywhere. Not sure about Tuckwell you would know more than me but he did seem to really enjoy his season last year.

Hannum will be around europe for most of the season and told me his not sure how keen he will be to have a hit when he gets back. If anywhere it will be at Freeling with the Mc boys?

Ray Bickle to leave Smithfield is the other i heard.

Yeah, that's Ray. He'll stay put.
I heard Ryan Gates & Zac Lowe to Dwight Reserve aswell.

If Ryan and Zac were coming to EP i would be surprised if Tuckers was leaving back to Smithfield especially considering he lives with Mozza Freeman.

That's a whole team, find that hard to believe that all of those players will leave.
I think we have all heard the Raed rumour but he won't be playing anywhere before Xmas anyway.

Doesn't sound good if it is a whole team... they are all youngish blokes too.. well apart from Lowey.
Is everything okay at Smithfield LM? The footy club still behind the cricket? Or has something changed?
With that... a slight deflection to the next topic!

Rumour and innuendi?

There wasnt much of that the facts were as i understand a parent of a player was extremley upset and let his feeling known in front of the entire club when his son was dropped from one of the side.

The coach was asked to re select his side by commitee members to please the angry father to which the Coach said he couldnt work under those type conditions and mutually they parted ways.

LOL thats the first time i have heard of a parent causing a scene about where their son is playing in SENIOR cricket. Poor lad whoever he is how embarrasing for him, his going to cop alot of sledging over his career one gets the feeling.

I stand corrected but have it on good authority thats basically how it played out. If anything i have written is incorrect i will happily delete my post.

WHUFC.

This all happened a couple months ago now and everyone has moved on, Yes Coach & Club mutually parted ways. Think everyone knows i was the coach at CCC. I also have supported the players/club all the way to the end of the season by filling in and playing D Grade with my own son as well as supporting the A Grade players at the games during the finals. I Have no animosity towards anyone at the club and hope everyone learns a big lesson by the unfortunate circumstances.

As Senior Coach your not there to make friends as such, your there to do a job and lead the players/club in a direction where continual success (playing finals) in the highest grade is the end goal. You will always upset someone along the way, thats a guarantee. Its how things are handled by all concerned that is the unknown when you appoint an outside coach who may do things differently that what your club is used to. In the end as ive stated everyone has moved on, im happy for CCC A Grade on their success this season as there was a lot of hard work involved to get where they are.

WELL !!!!! sorry to have opened up old wounds... i actually didnt know what happened, just trying to be funny , and yes it was months ago.. so i didnt expect this reaction.. sorry fellas... group hug...

You tell me.No need to try sinking the boots in.

Hannun- More than likely wont be in town.
Morris- Wont play til round 5.
Keylock- Rumoured to be going to Rosie's or Units.
Bickle- Says he's had enough every season, he'll be right.
Goulding- Stated he's playing at Lyndoch.
Taylor- wont go anywhere.
Z.Lowe- All good now after a chat.
Wellington- Possibly gone, 50/50.
Tuckwell- Neither has stated they are leaving.
Moss- Contemplating a season off.
Bateson- Needs to fork out some cash if he wants to go anywhere.

At the end of the day it was a sour evening after the last round loss and obviously a few players spoke to each other about moving on. SCC will be fine.

Wrong Lowey. Footy and cricket are two separate identities mate.

We've secured an opening batsmen already on a positive note. Most of the rest is innuendo, a one on one meeting with each player will displace any rumours or confirm them.

I've heard Steve Sewell to CU to play with his old mate Miles Picton whom stated on Sunday this season (his first at CU) was his most enjoyable season BY FAR!... Bagster, can you shed some light on this and the possibility of securing Ace Griguol Jr's services?

Congrats to CCC well deserved with a strong year. Good young team hopefully do well in grade 1. Coincidence they win when I leave. Haha still got the premiership I guess so not too bad. Raed to freeling not a bad rumor if it becomes true. Most teams if not all would have him for half a season. Any other retirement/movements
