Its old news!
Didn't think you dealt in rumor and innuendo Bagster.
Rumour and innuendi?
There wasnt much of that the facts were as i understand a parent of a player was extremley upset and let his feeling known in front of the entire club when his son was dropped from one of the side.
The coach was asked to re select his side by commitee members to please the angry father to which the Coach said he couldnt work under those type conditions and mutually they parted ways.
LOL thats the first time i have heard of a parent causing a scene about where their son is playing in SENIOR cricket. Poor lad whoever he is how embarrasing for him, his going to cop alot of sledging over his career one gets the feeling.
I stand corrected but have it on good authority thats basically how it played out. If anything i have written is incorrect i will happily delete my post.
WHUFC.
This all happened a couple months ago now and everyone has moved on, Yes Coach & Club mutually parted ways. Think everyone knows i was the coach at CCC. I also have supported the players/club all the way to the end of the season by filling in and playing D Grade with my own son as well as supporting the A Grade players at the games during the finals. I Have no animosity towards anyone at the club and hope everyone learns a big lesson by the unfortunate circumstances.
As Senior Coach your not there to make friends as such, your there to do a job and lead the players/club in a direction where continual success (playing finals) in the highest grade is the end goal. You will always upset someone along the way, thats a guarantee. Its how things are handled by all concerned that is the unknown when you appoint an outside coach who may do things differently that what your club is used to. In the end as ive stated everyone has moved on, im happy for CCC A Grade on their success this season as there was a lot of hard work involved to get where they are.
