L/M my main man i'll run with;

1) $5 on virginia into craigmore into natsias
2) $5 on westies into macintyre into any other bowler
3) $10 on westies into oz into bomber.

1) think virginia are better than the $1.85 suggests, always rated howe and johnie can slap thats for sure!

2) beware the wounded dog, macintyre is a gun bat and want him to gets his sat not sun ;) and like the $5.50 about anyother

3) read above into oz who is in his own class as a batsmen and bomber his due! although if they bat second he might not get a bat! catchit get russ to win the toss bat and let bomber open with a free rain!

Yeah was playing at the jets then went to TTG and was opening the batting & bowling in their A grade i think you'll find & now doesnt play at all

who would of thought. when i played with peter, kev was a little fat bastard, though you could see the kid had talent and he knew it. definately didnt think he would be a fast bowler though. just goes to show you, dont judge a book by its cover. remember him telling me that he was a much better cricketer than peter :prayer:

Whats the go? Who ever trained got a game? Apart from the 1st 4 named, how do you manage to pick the rest? Your talking bottom side grade 1 (PG) and Grade 2 in Central United.. I mean good luck to them all but seriously, no wonder no one is interested in playing assoc cricket...

Yep... Johnny had parenting duties on the scheduled training days. Like Jimmy, keen to play but not overly fussed.

Good luck to those playing, especially the first timers.

That would be the best 2nd 11 at best that team, there is a couple in there that would make the 1st 11.
Come on lets not bullsh!t here, Hargraves? Keeper from PG? A couple of young blokes? WTF is that about? People not being personly invited has made PDCA look like a week comp, i have no doubt the likes of Ozlins, Sibbick ,Leo , Stamatovich, are to old and slow ;)
There is plenty of other talent out there and for them not to be contacted is a disgrace, relying on a bit of paper to get the message makes it very unprofesional and needs to be looked at for the next game. Why wouldnt Scott want to contact people? Maybe not his job but why not take it to the next level? I sure hope its not because he is worried about losing captaincy to a better player?

IMO whether Oz, Sibb, Stama are too old and slow isnt the point, the point is (as i think was once previously posted) players should be personally contacted and invited out for the side, that way there is a degree of i guess honor of being asked and players are probably more likely to be keen to play if they feel appreciated i guess.. not this milo have a go cricket, come one come all try out :roll:

Like Stama said though..... Super did personally invite guys at the T20 day.

None of the stalwarts of seasons past were keen, so I guess guys were rewarded for training etc.

Sad but true. (insert Metallica riff here)

yep exactly, also did these players let Super know they were available but couldnt train or did they just tell teammates they would be keen.
