Well done to Westies, best side all year and turned it up when it mattered again this weekend. Nothing short of exceptional in the field and kept plugging away at our batting line up.
Well done to Scotty Mac on a perfect season topped off with his unbeatan 119!
We showed for 40 overs Sat and 20 overs Sun we can mix it with the best, unfortunately cricket is 140 overs not 60..
As a club, super proud of the efforts of the A grade - large number of changes from last year and real lack of Div 1 experience - to still make the GF is a credit to Russell Figallo and the commitment of the team, 4yrs ago should've been relegated now played 3 GFs on the trot.
Our B grade back to back, i did call it a few weeks ago :P tremendous effort, was exciting listening to the live commentary coming through on the speaker phone needing 4 off the last over!! WOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Finally well done to all the other premiers and grand finalists! MAAAAAD MONDAY NOW!!! LETS GO F****NG MENTAL!!!

Mad Monday is here!
Had to shave my tongue this morning!
Now to find where I left my voice?
With that... a slight deflection to the next topic!

Almost scandalous if true

Very highly unlikely. Ya need to be able to run quick singles down there ;D

What ground would that be lucky? Think ya got me mixed up with someone else ;)

As a couple of people pointed out to me yesterday, the opportunity for Grade 1 & Grade 1 Reserves is looking more of a reality.

SW 1 & 2
RC 1 & 2
AV 1 & 2
Vir 1 & 4
CU 1 & 2
OTH 1 & 3
CM 1 & 3
AT 1 & 3

SM 2 & 3
PG 2 & 4
EP 2 & 3
RS 2 & 5
SN 3 & 6
NP 3 & 5
PT 3
EE 4 & 7

It would be good if all of the clubs listed above could field two 2 day sides.

you would think that all A Grade sides would be made to play in the 2 day comp to strengthen it, instead of smashing C, D & E Grade sides

Pretty sure that is going to be a pre-requisite for next season.

Enjoy the Celebrations as the hard work has only just begun. Best of luck next season in Div 1.......

Well its been awhile since merki has been behind the keyboard , but as always, merki never fails to deliver ;)

Well Suns, i would beg to differ with that statement, rumor has it that half of the GF team didnt even do a preseason
There once was a bloke named Fracka,
Scored runs since he was a young tacka,
But alas not anymore,
his shot selection's been poor,
and now they call him QUACKA!!

8 of the Team done preseason, 1 was overseas til just before round 1, 1 didn't start with CCC til a few games in and another was returning from a knee recon. Out of the 8 that participated in preseason 6 or 7 of them done a majority of it.
