One hit for birchmore , didn't trouble the scores to much but will get better as he gets more hits under his belt.

Well not the day we were hoping for at Cock Park today, credit goes to the GC boys for fighting out a hard fought win. Had a chance to win the match through a tough chance but didnt go our way. Must say P Thomas played a very good innings to get them to the points. Thought our bowlers were outstanding, it was definitely the batting in the top order that let us down. Oh well we normally lose our first game anyway. Look forward to taking on Tanunda next week, hopefully we can get a win on the board

The money's already paying off for Centrals..

By the way Donkey, just checked up on your first games of the past couple of years and you have smashed the opposition both years. Just thought I would share that with you ;)

What is this money business UTP? the only money I'm aware of was Ty Stock paying his subs Friday night....

Great knock by Pete Thomas yesterday...I reckon his results so far this year might have gone some way towards shutting up the clowns who reckon he wasn't up to A grade standard

Hey norm or donkey, is there any truth to the rumours that Alastair Crothers recorded consecutive spews at fine leg the last two weeks?

Yeah the bulls are looking good this year...I'm amazed at how well they have covered the loss of Rocky Hutton to be honest...

Here's an offer too good to knock back...

www.wickettowicket.com.au is looking for someone who would like to do weekly match reports (on any or all grades) for the BLCA comp. PM me or email me at stuart@wickettowicket.com.au if you're interested. It's a terrific way to gain more expsoure for the competition and we have no objection to the mentioning of sponsors in the articles!

Hey everyone,

On Sunday, November 13, I have organised a day which includes 3 x twenty20 games - with the aim of raising awareness and much needed funds for the Haemophilia Foundation of Australia (please visit www.haemophilia.org.au for information about what haemophilia is) but I have struggled to fill the 6 teams, which were initially suppose to be filled with members from the PDCA and C&CCA so I would like to extend and invitation to members of all associations to partake in the games. There are 2 games starting at 11am and one to start at about 1pm - after the first 2 games finish. If you are interested in playing please contact me asap. There is also a facebook group 'bash4cash' and an event invitation going around on facebook too... even if you cant play, please try and get along to the ground (corner of South Terrace and Goodwood road, Adelaide) and support a great cause.

Thanks

-Andrew Brook
