Hows Steve Mason goin out there for them this season?

He took 4/34 against Goolwa. Not sure about previous game/s.

Damien, just noticed Wally Hutchy, No.30, in your photo. Didnt ever think you could fit the little nugget into such a small photo

Lucky the sun wasn't out on ANZAC Day, the glare of his bald spot would've been blinding!!

I may have to find a cricket photo for the next 5 months, it would seem more relevant for the warmer months.

What odds for an upset here WIW?

I'll stick my neck out and put some hard earned on Maroon's over Goolwa..

Binns to bat out the innings, Maroons to post a reasonable score, and the steady attack to defend...

Bays easy.
McLaren at home easy.
Compass Gold over Willunga.

It's garbage and not worthwhile of posting the link on several topics.
There is a specific topic for youtube videos, find it and use it with something preferably a bit more humourous next occasion.

Any scores from the wkend so far?

Willunga all out 212 on a fairly slow Willunga oval, and have Compass Gold 1/3 at stumps! Also heard Aldinga made 250 odd against Enc Bay!! Massive score against prob the best bowling attack in the comp if they did!!!

just wanted to publicly announce my disgust in the aldinga oval. after playing 70 overs on it yesturday its by far the worst i have EVER seen. all that was needed was a bucket and spade. teams should be ashamed of putting that rubbish up for others to play on. i know we take a very personal approach to the way we present our oval and have a lot of pride in what we do there. wish others would do the same.

now that my bitching is finished, just wanted to mention bryce garrard. the man is a star. if he can keep making runs like he is then aldinga will continue to win. for the 45 overs he batted he never looked like getting out, we had to wait for him to deside he'd had enough. would have batted all day if he didnt run down the pitch and try to smack one to sellicks beach. only way he was going to get out. by far the best cricketer in the comp, daylight second and possibly 3rd.

i drove past the oval the other day and it looked bad from the road! are the bowlers run ups still the main problem or is it the lack of grass coverage? some of the ovals are struggling but if it becomes dangerous to play on there is a real problem! does anyone know if it is a council oval, and if it is they have a lot to answer for!

If it is a council ground, maybe Aldinga CC can lobby the City of Onkaparinga to include Shark Park's ground maintenance in their Work for the Dole Scheme.

From a quick look at MyCricket i saw that Vale bowled Pt Elliot out for 117, i think, and now Pt Elliot have them 6/48 in reply!! What happened here WIW24? Especially after such a spirited batting display last week!

Port Elliot can be comended that way they have bowled this year...
Havent got alot of depth but their bowling of line and length on the weekend was great and a few Poor shot selections have McLaren in trouble but not out of it...
