Just face it, Sydney are better than Port. :D At least I get to see a win here every 2nd year. I cant remember the last time we beat the Crows.

When will the assoc look at organising the coming season?

I would really like to see churches push for an u/21's side again this year, im willing to do some running around and organising, would be good for our younger players and a great experience..

Any suggestions on the setup for the programme this season as well?

Things are a little quiet. I would imagine the forum would be alive with the cricket season approaching. Does anyone have the final word on the format of the competition this year. I really would like to know which clubs will be competing in each division.

Also good to hear some strong recruitment from the clubs in the top flight, hopefully push CCCA back up in the quality standards. Any word on other clubs recruiting from the lower divs? Enfield I believe have been on the hunt. But haven't heard much else.

Mr Green how are you?? Paralowie have recuited some players but haven't heard of much else happening...i personally would like to see Enfield UCCC stay in div 3,4 and 5 as i think thats where we are most comepetitive if we played in divvy 2 this yr i think we would give it a go but be playing out of our depth...

How are other teams looking this early???

Pfft!!! thats a pathetic attitude, div3 minor premiers & grand finalists and you wanna stick around in divvy 3?? you seriously trying to tell me you dont have the cattle to tackle div 2??? your off your head!! Furthermore that would be insulting, disappointing, selfish and stupid if your club does do that to Adam Gully who clearly wants to play higher and was looking else where before your club dangled a lucrative carrot in front of the boy!

Early days yet, but Fitzroy have lost a couple of players, however i have heard a rumour they may get a few A/B graders back to strengthen the club. Fitzies B grade struggled last year but hopefully it will be rectified this year and return to Div 3 where it belongs.

So you are saying we have the batting line up to be competitive in div 2???....when you captained us in div 2 how did we go??? we struggled.. our bowlers did their job but really struggled to post a defendible score.. when we are in div 2 we will try our best like Enfield always do but i think it will be an up hill battle...and Adam got plenty of other offers so you cant say hes staying because of $$$ maybe its loyalty??? mateship??

Absolutely you have the POTENTIAL to be competitive, however too many batting colapses etc kill you guys. The players have the ability but not the patience or brain or what ever it takes to switch on and put a bit of value on their wickets!..

As for Adam, yes no doubt mateship was a factor but he also told me it was the $$ offer he received that swung him...

HTFU and play div 2...
