R&C secured a bonus point chasing down the total in 28 overs, wouldnt read too much into the 5 wickets, were chasing the runs quickly

Was a good win by us, and yeah the old bonus point sucked a few of us in untill daniel and russel put there heads down to secure the points for us... The carmen that bowled, doe he normally play for them? Bowled in good spots with good away swing... Carmen the batter looked solid against my pace but when jim came on he deadset looked below average, and was backing off the pitch leaving his stumps wide open..

So Brenton wasnt the Jenner who got the runs,i bet a bit of small man syndrome was shown on Saturday then  ? He would hope his only score for the year is not in round 3

Bj is as hungry for runs as all of us at rosies, when its his turn he will deliver..

Agree with this comment, Daniel is a better cricketer as he is an all rounder but BJ on his day can cause some fire works especially if you start talking about his size.....................

shane has been a great servant of OTH for many years now. he has done everythin the club has asked him, and has done a good job of captaining the A grade in previous years also. to call it disgraceful or call him selfish is a joke gunnerson. clearly ur just coming on here to stir sh!t up with people from OTH and it aint happening. i know everyone from the club has huge amounts of respect for him, and the fact he has left the club would not have changed that one bit. he his welcome back any time

Gee you have changed your tune since Matt Rogers left, I wonder if you got peppered at training or you got told to pull your head in and keep your comments positive.
Obviously Gunnerson has hit a nerve with you as you have bothered to respond, I thought your skipper wrote the subject was closed but you have just reopened it. ;)

I personally havent faced Jimmy yet,

where does he stand in the way of pace compared to blokes such as Kenny McConnell, Willy Serle, Glenn North, Dwayne Jones.

Glenn
Dwayne
Willie
Jimmy
Kenny

He certainly pushes them through at times though.

Edit - On further reflection, not much between the middle three. Dwayne was just harder to face due to his height.

Yes it is. Not sure how he's bowling these days, but he was very sharp once upon a time.

That'd be him. I reckon he's had back issues over the last few years. Catchit should be able to confirm.

From what i remember bowled reasonably zippy , skidded them on with his sling action , bowled pretty full , could understand that he would be more dangerous on the concrete than on turf.
