Phantoms manager would like to announce a press conference regarding the lucky club to secure the phantom for season 2009-2010 will be held on Thursday. After overtures from 86 different clubs he has made a decision. The club is located North of the River Torrens and has an "e" in its name. The Phantom has also decided to take a pay cut, rumoured to be 50% of his previous contract. After the conference there will be a short interview with Rucci followed by Q & A from the floor. An extensive interview will follow on Nines Wide World of Sport. Thanks....

Well there prob will be only 4 blokes there at the start of the game, so yo will have to set up. Packing p is another story. Im not suprised if we left the mates out over night some times. Dont dare ask for water when it is over 37, as it isnt the bar tenders job to get you some. You will have great fun out there

Word around town is Morialta set to make a MASSIVE mistake for their club and elect to remain in division 1 this coming season.
I know for a fact a couple of the B graders from last season are far from impressed by being forced into playing above their capabilities..
Their stubborn and proudness of the club might end up seeing more people leave, could be the beginning of the end..

Sad but true... Was watching Paralowie v Mitchell Park the other week and my daughter(being a port supporter) asked if the team in blue was the Power. No i said, its Paralowie. Oh...POWERlowie, was her reply. She now thinks we live in POWERlowie. So im a bit torn between Mawson Lakes North and POWERlowie now.

From memory Vandewerf, in between firing up Pidge, said he and some others were leaving. Your right Carey they were a strong team with so many good fast bowlers. If only they had an extra batter or two they would have done more damage. And i agree with Phantom if they are going to loose too many they are better off going down and atleast being competitive. Its better off going down a Div and regrouping than flogging a dead horse and have people leave the club because theyre out of their league in Div1. Churches cant afford a club like Morialta to fold.

Yeah i remember playing them years ago in Div 1 for Croydon and they had about 3 bowlers who really made you think about batting. Pretty quick, i thought. Especially when you are a dirty slapper like me. Crackers and Hill were quick back then and 1 other i think.
