Player to watch will be Smithfields captain James Morris, will hit a ton hopefully this week, has been building up for a big knock since round 1.
Bateson, Moss, Newman and Rundle will clean up OTH with ease, saving Raed Hannun to rest and make some big runs also.

at one staged i thought james might make a big score there, was hitting them nicely and had us at 1/46, but wasnt to be, so we have to get back to the nets and focus on brahma, big task, but we'll have a crack like we do every week.

Losing Bateson before the game and Newman after 2 overs hurt our chances of restricting you guys to a low score. Throwing our wickets away with the big shots or getting caught in two minds and then lollying the ball didn't help our causes with the bat. Our batting is a real concern atm, most are under-achieving, there is a light at the end of the tunnel though, some positive chat on Saturday night regarding player availability.

Yeah, was a good low catch in cover to get rid of him, turned out to be a good game in the end... we all worked out our differences at the end of the game and we appreciate the drinks. Good day out.

It's good to sit down and have a laugh with the opposition, you end up finding that most of them are just like your own team-mates when you're having a few frothies.
