Looking forward to playing our old arch rivals Rosies this week. An opposition we certainly respect. Nice to see the 2 best sides squaring off..... Will be my last game of cricket and I think my old mate Catchit's last too... Cant wait.

Disappointing end to another competitive year for Angle Vale. We were the third best team all year but fancied ourselves agains Rosies and at the end of the day had our chances.
Dropped catches when on top and too many loose shots made it difficult to get close. A good team should make the most of there chances with the bat and besides a couple of chances in slips Rosies were tight in the field.
Congratulations to the B's and C's who made it 2 out of 4 into the big one. Still a young club with plenty of Carmans, i mean talented players, who will only get better with experience.

welcome to the forums and congrats on being the 1st vale player amongst it ;) i didn't believe pete when he said you read the forums coz didn't think you mob had the net out in the sticks of angle vale! You had a good season, but you can thank your sook of a captain for your loss! Two dropped catches in the slips - feltus on 0 then figallo on about 3.. Over 60 runs made after his errors.. Then he brought himself on to bowl pies.. Finally his batting was disgracefull! No value on his wicket, no patience and no respect for the opposition! You were still well in it all he had to do was knuckle down but noo too arrogant! Then the sook didn't want to even know us after the game, crying like a baby.. Hope his mum wiped his tears with the score book!

J. Pogas your a disgrace and a blight on your club and have the testicular fortitude, application and captaincy ability of a 6yr old kid! Hope when you review your season and look at your loss wondering where you went wrong you underline your name! You were easily rose and crowns best player this weekend.. Well done!

They weren't the only catches to go down, and you would be hard pressed to find many guys who placed enough value on their wicket or showed enough patiencs. I don't think it's a question of respect or arrogance. You expect a caption to show emotion with such a disappointing team result, it sometines only takes a few needless comments to push someone to react. We weren't good enough in the end but hopefully can build on this years result as we did from last year

good luck for next year, and well done personally on a pretty good season. You know pogas more intimately than opposition so not going to argue with your points, can only comment on what we see, hear and think. If him and pete wanna dish out the lip they best be able to not only be able to back it up but also be able to take it back. He may have taken the loss hard but it was a tough game fought till the end, show a greater level of maturity and class and be gracious in defeat.. 'wouldn't come have a beer with you f**kin c*nts' just makes him look like a wank and reflects on the side as a whole.. Attitude reflects leadership..

I have played angle vale a few times with ep and bl, and one thing that always stood out was they backed themselves in with the bat, and threw their wickets away. Quite often they got away with it, but at times it did look very care free and seemed the value on their wicket wasn't very high. You always felt a wicket was just around the corner. No doubt they have some damn good cricketers in their side, but at times it appears they wanted to get runs in as few overs possible, no matter the result in the wickets column. Good luck to them next year, I am sure they will be top 4 again wih the side they have.
