What a crock of shit! How's this weekend any different to next weekend?

If you had spent the last 3 days trying to find players you'd know.

Phantom Gossiper wrote:All you mob seem to do is whinge! Aww not enough games in a year, then its tol many games, then its cricket being played on this weekend or that weekend, now its cricket starting a week early! FFS if its sooo frickin hard for you don't play!!

p.s. this is not solely directed at you hut everyone else who wants to complain!

People should be keen to play, if it was footy would there be so many complaints?

You come on here just to complain about people complaining? I can't decide if thats more ironic or moronic.

There are plenty of clubs that need help from people who have time on their hands, ours is definitely one. Instead you choose to troll forums and bash those that are putting in the effort.

Oh I'm sorry please point out where I was bashing those who make an effort and help out? I just made mention I'm sick of the whinging from people who appear to never be satisfied, and why dont people just play because they want to instead if being so difficult!

I'm still lost why this weekend is any different to next - footy formalities are over, long weekend is over.

So pull your head out your ass and stop feeling sorry for yourself - unless your after a pat on the back and made to feel a champion for putting in the effort?

You don't even see the irony in complaining about people complaining so I'm not at all surprised you can't see where you would be doing this. Try opening the other eye.

Footy "formalities" might be over but footy related stuff is not. Footy trips, those on o/s and interstate holidays, plus a host of other commitments that have to wait until after footy season finishes. Like I said you would know because you haven't been trying to get players.

You're clutching at straws now. I love playing cricket and I love my club. I have a whinge now and again but so do we all. At least I contribute more than that.

You have nothing to do with the competition, you contribute nothing to it. You just come in here and throw a blanket over everyone else in here so you can have a whinge.

Looks like all the results are on Facebook. ;) Rose Park 4-190 def Para Vista 8-188. McLeod made 92 for PV and that man Riddle took 3 wickets. Seems NEK beat Fitzroy and Lutheran defeated Enfield. But I too am interested in the return of Goat Herder?

Very inauspicious reintroduction to the game, chaps!  Shelled one at 1st (does letting the ball cannon into your ribcage without laying a finger on it count as 'shelled'...?? :P  ) & pouched one. See, if ya set the bar nice & low early on....... ;)
