It was only due to the fact that these teams were playing in the one day comp and we have a lot of kids playing in that grade and as it is some games, captains take up to 4 kids in their car to away games. Purely distance reasons only. If putting the needs of parents and the kids first is being a negative force against an expanding competition, then so be it. If they were nominating teams in higher grades, it wouldn't have been an issue.
Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't this in regards to senior cricket and not juniors? If so, a decision should not be based on how many kids your club choses to play in a senior competition. This would be understandable if you were referring to them wanting to enter sides into the junior comp. If a club is reliant on having them many juniors to fill their bottom senior side they should seriously consider pulling that side from the comp.
Holy hell I have never heard any of this CRAP come out of yours or your brothers mouths when you were playing at Craigmore but now that you both have left without any issues you both come on this forum and do nothing but bag the club that you both represented.
The 2 of you are losing respect from some of the members of the club that you played at, I dont understand why you would write some of the crap that has been written on here like the above. Your brother was on the committee last season and was the B grade captain and never once thought that playing some juniors was the wrong way to go. You also captained the B grade in his absence and didnt have any comments then.
So from now on if you have nothing positive to say about Craigmore keep your comments to yourself and dont bag the club.
