Waikerie-Ramco made 254. Will be a big run chase for the Demons tomorrow. Duffield made 80 odd I think, Griffiths over 50. 5 dropped catches and a wicket off a no-ball within the first 10 overs didn't help the cause for Berri.

Also heard that Monash were bowled out for 102 and Renmark are now 4/50. Would anyone like to elaborate?

Renmark lost on the weekend only 20 runs short and nine wickets down.

Persinos was in a hurry to return from Adelaide and got to Cobdogla before being given out "timed out".

Would be a rare occurrence in any form of the game.

Yeah the poor bugger.
Maybe if his team-mates had hung around for a bit longer....

Maybe if he'd left Adelaide on time and planned to get there before the start of the game.....

Probably the most ridiculous thing I have heard of in Riverland cricket.
Only Renmark could cock up that bad. Youv'e got to feel for blokes like Stevens, Shawyer and Victor. 20 runs away from a berth in a GF
I'm buggered if I know why they even bother.

My tip is that a fired up Berri will knock Monash over comfortably.
Seems to have been a few goings on in the last few days that will band them together.
NS might know more.

That would be my tip as well DW. I don't think we are too worried about the goings on, just winning the game. Whoever started it was well out of line. That is certainly not what the rule is designed for.

BC, I think you'll find it wasn't Monash.
You might even find it was a Lone Warrior.

I thought it might have been a lone warrior. I reckon I could pick who it was as well. He definitely didn't have the backing of the team on it anyway.

Berri 235 after day 1. Burnett 85. Will be hard to get on a slow outfield I would think.

Any news on player movements for the upcoming season?
Have heard Duffield could be a starter at Loxton. That would be good for Riverland cricket IMHO.

Duffield would be a more than handy in for Loxton. Gun.

Apparently Renmark have Luke Fitzy fronting up this season, this is unconfimred though. Can bowl a bit.
