The talk is for a 1 division super league consisting of 16 teams playing 20 over a side matches in order to keep interest in the struggling comp alive.
New lighting for Fitzroy Stadium to ensure multiple games on a Sat arvo/evening also.

If Mattsy could fund it, he would. Perhaps BB could though.
Or perhaps the bloody council could do something for once.

Well BB is in the right socio-economic category to be having talks with the millionares club at Para Vista. The strong rumour is he'll only sign on for a bakers delight tho.

The Goat has been grazing from the land and not the ocean for a while now.. ;) More stinkin', windy weather this weekend forecast too. *sigh* Hopefully Port Vic in 2wks time will change all that. 8)

I haven't seen BB since we slayed a few snook about 6-7wks ago, but rest assured that the "millionaires club" doesn't actively seek to poach players from other clubs within the Association. I think you're getting us confused with another long-term church-based A Grade club... [-( :-$

rest assured friends i am alive. have my head buried in books at the moment. speaking of which.....does any know about the regulation of photosynthetic pigments and the correlation with excretion of secondary algal metabolites????

Goatie - i am off the tackle some sambos and monster gar in 2 weeks. i also have a little gig lined up in cowell for some snaparoonies. mind you, i will be chasing those snook on the jetties at night......tasty treats they were!!!

no bakers delight either mr wicky. not even subway. i cannot do carbs too much these days. i would almost switch clubs if there was a butcher sponsorship in place......i would play for a nice rib eye per week no sweat.

whens pre-season??? bring it on

Well, first I've heard of it but you never know in this crazy world. Seeing the Prez tonight so I'm sure the topic will present itself at some stage.
What are the advantages of returning BB?
I take it you are putting retirement plans on hold for another tilt at the title.

Always had good fun playing with Smithy. Shared a flag or 2 together in the 90's from memory.

Heard a whopper today. Involves a 2 team club expanding with a C grade, some recruits, and a potential Div 5 premiership. Definetely good for the comp to see this club go to 3 teams.
