Harry Roling is out due to a SOFT tissue injury.. ;)

Good luck lads! I'll be out for a few hours on Sunday morning to support the boys, and I encourage everyone to get down to EJ Smith Reserve (Greenacres Oval - game starts at 10am) on Sunday to do the same. 8)

If anyone wants to volunteer to score, the coach (OB) and manager (auto) would greatly appreciate it. ;)

Hahaha, Pull ya head in GH! Id love to be playing cricket this week, but unfortunately the possible tear in my bicep isnt gonna allow me. Was gonna relish the opportunity to pen the bat and take on that Shane Watson type role :P Just was too good to be true haha.

NEK A were bowled out by Para Vista A at Greenacres Reserve for 204. Pete Atkins made a ton (congratulations mate), whilst Matt Wiles took four wickets with the ball. Vistas are 0/24. Seems like a tight encounter in the battle for top spot.

At EJ Smith, Para Vista B bowled out Magill-Morialta for 64. Brenton Starke, Dave Schreiber (bowling in a hat), Ron Braakhuis, Aaron Burgess and Nick Maxted all took multiples for Para Vista. In reply Vistas are 3/166, with Ron Rathjen unbeaten on 59, Maxted unbeaten on 23. Ian Martin also made 56. Josh Diegmann bowled 21 overs straight in his chase for the bowling trophy, snaring 3/67.

We're all smiles up here at the Dragons club rooms.

sounds like a tight game for top spot, congrats to Pete on the ton

Vistas 0/24, good start, so i assume cousins didnt open the batting then? :o

Adel Lutheran made 308 against Rose Park. Just about all Lutheran blokes made runs. Stancl ton, Nitschke fifty and they all chipped in. Spencer for the first time this year None for was the telling stat for Rose Park as the guy was probably leading the comps bowling averages up until this game. Stancl will be in good nick for tomorrow's Association Match. Good Luck to the Under 23s would go and watch but have wife's friends kids party to go to

Wayne Gehling made a hundred for Adelaide Lutheran Bs in our total of 9/230ish against NE Knights B.
He almost didn't get there though - in the second last over of the day, he was on 98 and ran 2, but the square leg umpire called one run short!!! Luckily he got there a few balls later.

Over 500 runs made by the club on one day for the first time since 2003/04 I think. :D

Cheap shot Power, I'm sure your a gun bat and open in the A's ....or are you just another hero that plays in the lower grades?
Probably another one of those blokes that wont be playing in the finals. Enjoy the footy season mate, i'm sure your club again will struggle to make the 8 like your cricket team struggles to make the 4

well done on your Ton yesterday Pistol, done in true hardwicket style!
Also well done to Carey who apparently took a 7 for yesterday.

For me Lutherans are the one's to beat this season. It seems to be coming together for them at
the right time of the year. Its all VERY close though, will make for an interesting finals series
