Interesting you say that, there was a serious concern amongst some of the AV mob that a loss to R&C might put them in severe danger of finishing 4th depending on results.
Given that, you would imagine they would want to do everything they could to acrue as many points as possible.

That is pretty poor dude.

I guess its safer to leave your belongings at your ground??

I'd watch who you blame too cause I and a couple of other ATCA players had money/sunnies etc in their bags and none of that was touched. So at least one of your players could afford a beer after the game i reckon.

Suggesting that it was perhaps someone from PDCA? Or suggesting it was someone from ATCA? :?

Your right though, poor form to insinuate that Pooraka was somehow involved in the incident. It's a pretty shithouse situation though! I leave my belongings lying around or in my bag all the time, I trust that people have the common decency and respect to leave shit alone!!

Anyway in other news was that you who dropped the catch then proceeded to give 4 over throws? Believe you became the 2nd top scorer for the day at that stage with that effort :P

Don't get me started about umpires and the standard of umpiring has fallen away dramatically in the last few seasons. The guy we had on the last game was nothing short of a disgrace, I know we all make mistakes but to miss 3 caught behinds in a row is an absolute disgrace and changed the game. The same umpire does not know the super sub rule and was going to allow the guy being subbed out to play day 2.
If they don't know the rea they shouldn't be out there, simple.

Actually from what ive seen in the 3 games ive been involved in that Les Harrison has umpired, he has been not to bad. The guy hears most edges, LBW's and even encourages a bowler if he deems it a good ball. And to top it off will even buy a beer for players after a game. Unless the league gets younger people coming foward to umpire, we will have to settle for what we have got, even if they make some bad decisions. One bit of advice i will give them is to be more confident with LBW's, seems they are intimidated to not give them out, Coxy is one that comes under that catergory. Too many that are plum are turned down.

That's just as poor mate, some of our players were pretty peeved and there was **** all they could do about it. I wouldn't think that anyone in the PDCA would have the audacity to do such a thing nor would I think that a Pooraka member would've either.
An unfortunate lesson learnt, as I said previously, it was the first time I've ever experienced it in cricket, I've seen it a couple of times in footy.

In general I don't think the standard is that bad, there's a couple of doozies but there's some good ones floating about too.

Yeah your right.

I don't think it was one of your players either, probably some brave feral kids as is usually the case, I was more making a point that if your blaming pooraka cause thats where its held, might as well blame your team cause thats who was in the changerooms.

Ps. Your welcome.
