how come pooraka didnt just play for first inning points ? seems they blew a chance to host a home final

They did play for first innings points.
Batted first and made a mediocre score.
Then had to bowl the opposition under that.
How is that not playing for first innings points?

i posted how come pooraka didnt just play for first inning points pooraka went onto win outright i see a outright win as a lose for pooraka overall

Given how close the comp was, I think Pooraka felt it was in their best interests to seek maximum points to ensure they cemented a spot in the 4, in case results went against them and they missed..

Jordan Wood from Pulteney would be up there. 32 wickets at 14.7, including 10 against Grange, 7 Goodwood and 6 Payneham. Also had 4 scores over 40 from 6 innings.

Harrington's 300 runs and 16 wickets might be another to go close, but I'm tipping Wood.
