As no one picked them I'd just like to say a big congratulations to the Rose Park B grade for winning the Div 5 Premiership. Enfield had us 6/24 at one point but had to resort to racial taunts in the end to no avail.

Well for Enfield guess it must suck to be beaten by a bunch of monkeys. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Go the Parkers!!!! :D

Adelaide Lutheran won the B-Grade Premiership as Adelaide City Blues only made 111 in reply to our 213 last week. Micah Briene took 5 wickets. :D

It was a good performance considering it is the first year at the club for six of the premiership team.

If the racial taunts prove true then the book should be thrown at them.

I don't think it will go any further had a word to the umpire then and there, but they then accused Hiresh of calling one of them a white ****. Funny thing is that Hiresh doesn't even know what that means, had to tell him. If they want to take it further though we have some great footage on camera of the player scratching his armpits like a monkey. Aren't cameras grand.

Well, the bevvies flowed freely at Chateau De` Cuz into the wee hours of this morning, with the host putting in a post-match BOG performance 'at home'.. It's been a while since we truly celebrated a Div 1 premiership win (yes BB, last season's flag was hollow.. ), so this one was real sweet. 8) Celebrating 2 premierships within your Club also doesn't happen each year, and well done to our B Grade boys, great bunch of lads.

Full credit to NEK for giving it a solid crack yesterday - 244 would win you probably 8-9 GF's out of 10. Congrats to Millsy for his quality strokeplay and innings and Baldo for his 6-for last week and a few massive balls when he batted yesterday. Above all else, they are a great bunch of blokes - play it hard and have a beer together afterwards. It's what it's all about and a large number of teams in all Divisions should take a leaf from their book and show some humility and respect for their opponents - and for the game of cricket itself - regardless of what happens on the field. NEK are a credit to themselves and their Club, and their captain deserves special recognition for the way he plays the game and the way he conducted himself yesterday. 8)

Great to see other Div 1 players out having a gander yesterday - didn't know that was you sitting there Auto!! Sorry mate, bloody rude of me.

Finally, congratulations to my boys! Awesome effort guys, we had a point to prove an we did it in emphatic style. And to top last night off for me personally, I was honoured and priveleged to have been awarded Life Membership at the Club I love and the Club I call my home. Thanks Cuz, Richie and to all the Exec and players, it means the world to me and it's been 10 of the best years of my life. Straight to the pool-room with that plaque!

Just telling it how it is Dave. 8) I get around and see a bit of CCC&A cricket in all Divisions during the year, and it staggers me how many teams and individuals fail to grasp the basic concept of the way cricket is meant to be played - in many aspects - and I can honestly say that our whole competition would be a better place to play if everyone adopted the spirit in which this game was played and the behaviour of the players. Full credit to both camps and thanks for the frothy invite guys.. ;)

We'll catch up before next season rolls around mate.. 8)

Cheers for the kind words!, Agree with you completely! it was played in a very good spirit! 2 sides with mutual respect, hard at it on the field and good blokes off. Congrats to the PV boys and to my lads, one day boys! not too far away i don't think, hold your heads high.

i liked the sledging when i came into bat too!

looking forward to beating your asses next year!
