My future talent is Trav McIntyre.... Will be the best of the bunch by a long way. The 15yo has held his own opening the bowling at times during the year and bowling spells to the better players in the comp at times. Has also made some good runs batting in the middle order.....young fella can bat thats for sure.

Willie has been around for a while now though, think that is why he wasnt considered.
Will Trav also inform us how super fantastic he is and how is going to dominate us and we'll never get him out etc? Family trait after all

My mail is that Salisbury West have added an unbelievably talented leg spinner to their arsenal... Scary good. He's been lobbying all season for that opportunity.

Yeah the new bloke bowled very well when he landed the ball. Bowles 3 overs got 1 fa 10 but probably only landed 3 of his deliveries lots more training before he is ever seen again

Rose & Crown 310 & 1/40 odd defeated Angle Vale 220 odd.

Must say Fry batted well for AV. Made I think about 55. He looked all sorts of unco when he 1st came in, but kept his game very simple and stuck to his strengths and picked off the ones to build his innings. Really the only player to show any sort of real application at the crease.

Wonder if he brought catchit a beer after the game for dropping a sitter with him on 49 which allowed him to cruise through for the single to bring up his 50..

With Virginia winning outright and AV only accruing a handfull of points.. what are the odds Virginia can knock off SW next week and sneak into 3rd spot?

Or.. AV to win outright, and snag 2nd and Rosies to finish 3rd or could Rosies even finish 4th?! Oh the questions to ponder..

What a day it was at Eastern Park today, 7 for 520 off 101 overs. We welcome back Ray Smith after his long absence with 5/15 and a massive and very impressive 156NO!! Ray was almost matched by Mike Ward 142 who together played an amazing partnership, as the finals are coming closer the old Red and Blue aren't looking to bad!! Couple more games to go until the final dance but with this form you'd expect grade 4 to belong to the old Demons!
It's all fun and games till you get serious, sit down shut up and have a joke... Were all here for a laugh and a few to many bevvs

Got rolled mate - I think we made 70 odd in the end but to be honest I didn't look at the book, could have been 50??
Best part of the day was going to buy a beer and opening the wallet to realise someone had gone through our bags and pinched our cash - that was a terrific end to the day.
