heard at rumour today that Terry Potts ( aka as Terry Nelligan, Terry P, Terry Towelling & Terry Bull ) is back playing with Betania again. Doesnt he still owe money to another club for his transfer?? how is he able to play?
Obviosly the rules mean nothing

Revised C&CCA 1st Xll - 2 players have withdrawn due to patella problems - one dislocated (Cougs) his last night and another has one shifting around a bit too much (Frick).

Shaun HOLLAND (Captain)
Jonathan SMITH (Vice-Captain)
Peter ATKINS
Andrew BALDING
Adam GULLY
Timothy HODSON
Scott HOLBERTON
Richard MARSHALL
Lee MILLS
Joshua VINES
Simon WILSON
Paul WRIGHT

I've got 2 more players on the 'waiting list' should the unthinkable happen, then it's a case of me dusting the whites off (for comedy purposes only).... :? ;)

Yep, that'd be 'Sarge' Wilson. ;) If he's good on the lip mate, you'll be able to compare notes..

It's a funny game cricket, coz some of the guys I've played against and who I had run-ins with were my all-time favourite teammates at rep level. Go hard or go home, I say! :D

My rule with sledging is ya gotta back it up otherwise you just look like a twat. And there are plenty of twats out there.

I hope karma catches up with the in-breds who cut a nice chunk out of the St.Pauls College cricket pitch during the week. I know the Bs are half way through a game there, but they'll only be able to complete it bowling at one end as the Nothern End is missing a piece of pitch just on a good length for a left hander

Good luck to the lads on Sunday who are representing the association. If I wasn't so 'unco' I would have had a chance to smash with smasha on Sunday and sledge that serial pest Superbad on Saturday. :( Have to spectate now with that other cripple called Frick. ;)

One change to the 1st Xl side - Ash' MacDonald dislocated his kneecap at training last night, so Scott Holberton comes into the side, who was pencilled in as 1st replacement if someone pulled out.

So the amended 1st Xl is ;

Shaun HOLLAND (Captain)
Jonathan SMITH (Vice-Captain)
Peter ATKINS
Andrew BALDING
Daniel FRICK
Adam GULLY
Timothy HODSON
Scott HOLBERTON
Richard MARSHALL
Lee MILLS
Joshua VINES
Paul WRIGHT

Thanks Herder for giving me the opportunity to play, be great to play along side some of these talented lads ! best of Luck to Ash and hope he makes a speedy recovery.
