Should be a good tight comp, have you lost anyone or you looking good?

we are looking pretty good. got some new faces and some older new faces lol.
had a few other guys come and try out but in my honest opinion they wouldnt make our b grade side.
thats being honest, got some younger guys in div 1 now so looking better for the future. the club itself is doing really well , we have got a good group of guys in charge.
dont think we have lost anyone from a grade, but got a couple back and some new guys. dutchy has fitted in nicely
and gives another bowler and bat. but only time will tell .

I am looking forward to some good competitive cricket and a few cold brews at the end of a days play, its been a long winter!

I'm confident Rose Park will be up there again this year. We'll be doing it tough early with a number of key players missing but that's generally true for most clubs at one point or another.

I could be a chance to take the new ball first game  Should be a competitive season again which only makes for a good comp.

Auto, Great Idea, would add a little spice to the season.
The problems I see are:
Who would run it?
How would it work with My Cricket?

If people out there can think of a way to make it work, then let me know and we see what we can do.

Just don’t put any more workload onto the Exe.

Fantasy cricket works through the mycricket website, the admin sets it up, then sends out emails to all, who then pick their teams. The website does all the calculations and there's no adminn of the fantasy league to worry about.

To set it up, all i did was go through the settings on the mycricket administration page, i chose $300,000 as salary cap, new players got a standard $25,000 cost and there's a few other settings which i cant recall. The website calculates all player costs based on their last seasons output, the only exception is new players. Apart from the initial 20 mins to set it up there's no other admin to worry about, its all thru the mycricket webpage.

Ah, now i remember, you just have to set up how many, batters, bowlers, wickies each team need to select, ours is 3,3,3,1 (bats, bowls, all rounders, keeper). Each player gets put into a catergory by the website and bobs your uncle, players select their teams.

Check out our website, click on the fantasy tab on the left it has the rules and some teams already up....

Who will be the biggest recruit this season?

Carey to NEK, Hobbs to ????

No doubt last season everyone will say it was Rob O'Gorman. Changed Rose Park into a premiership team. Outstanding player.
But Rose Park also picked up some handy ones in Bruce-Gordon, Ralph, Wehrman, Riddle and McClelland. For mine though it was the recruitment of 50 year old Ian Henderson that paid off in bucket loads. He treats bowlers like 6 year olds, and with the ball coming off the longest bowling run up in the comp, teams can't seem to deal with the great pace he bowls.

What was your batting average last carny Carey? Might have to play just as a bowler these days. Are you batting 11 for NEK?

Keep on truckin Carey

Hey Auto,

I had a look over the weekend, and there is nothing on the Association pages to set up for Fantasy Comp.
I think it must be something that is only for clubs.
I will ask the Stats Officer if he can follow up with My Cricket.
