i notice that westminster were approx 10 runs ahead aswell, lack of overs in the end! good effort by plympton but hard to bowl a side out twice in one day

The most dissapointing batting display we have had all year. I gave the lads a spray after the game, and I hope the boys learn from it.

Mitchell Park played 1 short with one bloke not turning up. Very costly as it may have got them over the line and given us clear 2nd spot for finals. Looks like we have to earn it now.

From memory this result puts NH in bottom and relegation position?

Excuse my ignorance but how does one get relegated when there is 6 sections and NH has a side in each

This isn't in direct relation to North Haven or anyone else, but it's not a right to have a team in section 1. Each club has to earn their spot.

Agree there Roseboy.

Looking at the Glenelg ANA v Keswick game, will be interesting too see who gets the votes in the Hewett medal, as there was no standout.

galliford with 43
rowe with 4/35 and 10
rusty with 37 and 2 fa
another keswick fella with 42

Be interesting too see which way the umpire goes in this game. could be the difference betwee rusty and rowey

Who won this game? If it was keswick youd think Rusty could pick up maximum points in a game where nobody stood out.

Did you blokes appreciate you may well have been playing for your spot in Sect 1 next year? Just heard the joking and carrying on, with no-one seeming to care about losing outright.

The bays got up in this one so i would say rowey is a chance to get maximum and rusty and gally a chance to split the 2 and 1 votes. Can the bays still make the finals if they win outright last game and sheidow and plympton lose? This is the tightest finish to a finals race in section 1 for quite some time i would've thought.

Definately a tight competition for that 4th spot. I think Sheidow, Plympton and Glenelg all a big chance to take it. The outright win for us yesterday leaves our destiny in our hands if we can beat ICC next game. It was an unbelievable result for us yesterday needing 4 wickets with 2 overs left for the outright and getting them. Arren Harvey took 5/8 from 8 overs in the 1st innings and Jarryd McCormack 6/35 in the second including the two winning wickets in the last over of the match.

Sounds like you boys had a top day Sarge, well done. Plympton can think themselves unlucky to miss the outright by only 1 wicket yesterday as well. The final round will be very interesting, i wonder if sides will be making phone calls to see how the other sides are going again :D .

Buttfield and Berry made all the runs against us. But that's a shocking start either way

A collapse of 7/18. Not even the Ramblers middle order have achieved that in recent times.

sorry AF that was very rough guess but they got rolled for 80 odd...

when 3runshort got out, in the5th over they needed only 88 runs. apparently our lads went out and played like the last two overs of a 20/20 and didn sum up the situation.

from last game though no opener number 3 and number 5 played...

very poor performance even if it is just a 20/20

Was at the game CK and WYC didn't bat too smartly. After a good start and getting the rate required to under 6 an over they kept trying to score at 9 an over and played too many loose shots. Ledgard batted well and really won the game for ICC because without him they would have struggled to post a competitive total.
