well this is the thing from paralowies point of view there was no forfeit and are playing a one dayer this week AS WAS AGREED i might add.

I must say, I can understand the opposition being upset if they got told the pitch was under water, then hear from one of their players it was fine. Sounds as much a lack of judgement on the part of Paralowie if the ground was fine for play that day as anything else.

Does show that you should always let the opposition rock up and inspect the ground first before calling games off.

Pretty strong side, i'd prob make 2 changes to put our absolute strongest side together.....IMO of course. Just as a thought too, if we put this side together regularly for assoc games we'd have a fairly strong U21 team available.

For all of these guys to put their hand up for this cause is fantastic! One of the reasons I have to cut my fishing trip short - to see the likes of Mills, Smith & Marshall together in the middle order is something I've been waiting to see for a while. :D

Can you be a bit more scathing please Auto, I'm not used to posting a team on here and not getting bagged left, right & centre... ;)

Why all this talk about the best 11. Surely the star and drawing power is in the over 33’s  . We should all just be thankful that there are no change room’s otherwise it would be a tossup between what would cause the biggest argument in the ‘best 11’ the clamouring for the mirror to ensure the ‘tips’ are looking right or which scented candles to light.
The above of course does not relate to Smithy – heard the Hulk story from carnival and Smasha as i am neither that brave nor that stupid. 8)

On a serious note well done to all concerned for getting involved and putting their hand up to play and or contribute to the day. Perhaps the two teams can have a side bet (all winnings being donated). The team from Churches who make the lowest score, results in every player needing to kick in $$$.
Smasha and Couger’s runs of course should count towards the over 33’s. :D

Really looking forward to Sunday... Just one problem though, what will the batting order be, so many blokes that can bat and in the same spots for their own clubs!

Quite a few options with the ball for Dutchy to choose from. :D 8)
