4x games in 2 day comp = 8 weeks = approx 1/3 season
8x games in 1 days comp = 8 weeks = approx 1/3 season

Therefore if someone plays 4x games - 2 in 2 day comp and 2 in 1 day comp = 6 weeks = not enough games to play finals.

Or stimpulate how many weeks or percentage of weeks in the season a player must play.

Either that or operate the 1 day comp as a seperate entity to the 2 day comp with seperate by-laws and qualifications?

Weeks played is what I think it should be. Super sub for a week in a 2 day game should count half as much as playing both weeks. Playing 2 one day games should count as much as playing both weeks of a 2 day game. Still have the 32% (why it's not 33% or 1/3 is beyond me) means you have to play 7 weeks to qualify, whatever grade or comp it is. 3 1/2 2 day games or 7 one day games. No difference IMHO.

Fair call.

Seperate one day comp is the only way to sort it out properly. The sooner thats done the better.

Nope, Angle Vale will retain their spot in Grade 1 unless they don't want it. Interestingly, ATCO stay in Grade 3 no matter what the result is this weekend.

Ok, but are you assuming Westies will beat Riverside in the Div 2 GF this weekend? Because if Riverside win it then surely Angle Vale wouldnt have a say in the matter given they finished 7th in Div1 and Parkers and Riverside would advance??

The billy boys have been a little quiet on here the past couple of days, the pressure from being premiership favourites weighing on them??

I noticed that Phil Neil is leading the charge that they abstain from sex, weights and soccer for the next few days as well - surely you're better halves don't need to suffer as Rosies will.

Make sure you have a good read of this and fully understand it, people have feelings ya know and don't want to make them feel violated or insignificant.

Whilst we are on serious topics, here's another one:

Performance Appraisals.

What is a Performance Appraisal?
A performance appraisal is all about providing a way to achieve Organisation goals. The achievement of an organisation's goals rests with it's people, the more talented the people and the better they are managed and coordinated toward those goals, the greater the chance of success.

Steps to a successfull appraisal
1. Set goals together
2. Determine skill gaps
3. Regular feeback
Reward achievements.

What happens if you have a poor appraisal?

Looking at last weeks side, interesting that Lister was dropped and Nixon and Balloch selected back in the side..

If I were Lister i'd be pretty p**sed off! Balloch selected on the back of a Grade 1 average of 11 and Nixon who although has more wickets has proven more expensive than Lister...

Lister has been absolutely fantastic to the success of the A grade this year. Still training and doing what ever he can for the team to succeed.
Its not exactly a bad problem to have, im sure we will select a side for the weekend that we think will be competitive. Will be a great game.

I think the question everyone is asking is why the PDCA's main spinner cant get a gig for the big game on the weekend?? Why not ply 2 spinners? Surely the hill is a good place for 2 spinners?? ;)

LoL they are both similar players, given the score, I'd say we got it right. ;)
