You're killing me KJR.......perhaps give us your Hills KI 'Magic Moment' that you can share with the fellow posters. Maybe the victorious scorecard? Or could you give us the history of your illustrious Meyer Shield Career, including the dark moments against that horrible Torrens Valley crew?

Not so sure about the 'Not playing this year' KJR. Think you might have been on a boat Jan Long Weekend. ;)

Aldgate Cricket Club is celebrating their 100th year by having a Gala dinner at Mt. Lofty Sports Club this Saturday night. Stirling Cricket club have been kind enough to agree to play at Stirling oval on Saturday rather than the stated Aldgate oval due to the run ups.

It is quite fitting that Stirling play Aldgate due to the fact that they are two of the oldest clubs in the hills association.

Due to heat last week it will be played as a one day game with start at 1pm. All welcome

sounds like a good excuse to head up to the stirls for a few pints, providing it isn't too hot for cricket.

I think the ruling is and correct me if i'm wrong, that even if mt.lofty & meadows do play they will receive no points and just get the draw like every one else?

Why are Mt.lofty that keen, are they any chance of making finals dutchy? I haven't really looked at the ladder of late.

Lofty are unlikely to make the finals and if they play and its 41 or over the points wont be counted anyway.

They havent played in a long while and are just keen to play some cricket, with the cool change coming though in the arvo it will no doubt be good cricketing weather and they are keen to have a hit and test themselves against one of the better teams in the comp.

Good signs IMO that Lofty re keen to play and keen test themselves and improve.

TVCA called off again. Stupid bloody rule  8) 3 weeks without cricket, and with a forfeit looming in the last round, it'll be finals on the back of 1 game in 6 weeks :?

It should be 42 imo...
SAFC- 60 years...
StKFC- 58 years..

i'm in the same boat saintal. Haven't played for 3 weeks and have only one more game then the bye. HCA needs to bring back the format of 7 2 dayers and 7 1 dayers, therfore needs to drop a club from the A grade so we can play some bloody cricket!
