Nice work O2 Thief! =D>

So we've got a venue, now what did you have in mind duck? A whole bunch of teams playing 20/20 matches during the course of a Sunday, for example, or 1 or 2 curtain raisers with C&CCA vs PDCA finale` later in the day??

Why not both? Why not have teams playing T20 then finish with the spectacle :P and everyone can watch and get wild and throw cans :D

sounds good! 4 teams playing in 2 x 20/20 games as curtain raisers... followed by an inter-association 20/20 as the main game!

Depending on insurance Im happy to have "non-cricket" playing members of the community playing in the curtain raisers to help boost numbers if necessary!

What do people think of Sunday Jan 23rd??

Or a week later on Sunday Jan 30th???

Anyway Mr. Herder if you need an umpire, Jeff Stephens is available, and his finger is still in his pocket.

Love from Aaron Cavanagh Timm. (Yes that is my middle name! Mum and Dad thought that I should have a surname somewhere).

=)) =)) Tim tam you are quickly becoming one of the funniest blokes i know

How do you know that I am Timmsy? He would never dream of telling anyone that is middle name is Cavanagh! What kind of name is that?

Plus, I'm not going to let him take the credit for being so funny.

You can definitely play mate.. ;) However, I'm booked on a charter to Tapleys Shoals as the skippers guest to smasha some big reds on the 30th. I'm more than happy to help out where I can though, even if I might not be there on the day (charter will depend on weather, of course). 8)

Just spoke to Lenny Martin and his house is shagged.. :( Reckons he was at his house while I was speaking to him and all the ceilings are on the floor and there's water & mud etc everywhere. Neighbours have debris covering their roofs and across the road they are still in 1.5m-2m of water. Four of his immediate neighbours don't have insurance.. :( Luckily Lenny's joint is insured, but it will take a long time to recover from it, and insurance assessors won't be out for at least a week to determins whether they'll have to bulldoze the house or repair it from the existing structure. :(

Great idea duck-mann. We will make this work. 8)

in case you havent read the other thread, the T20 's are now on the 23rd due to one ground being unabvailable on the 30th.
Having played in 6 carnivals and sharing a common bond with the boys from QLD, i know that i want to do everything to get behind the
cause and do what we can . I hope that you guys feel the same, and if your not involved in the day in a playing capacity then i hope that you will turn up and support the cause!

Try and keep the fundraising chat in the thread set up for it if you could please, this will allow the organisers to get a better gauge on things.

Thankyou.
