Wouldn't be surprised if half the team ended up on report from Nth Pines. A few very upset players during and after the game. None went to fight that I noticed but some definately need to grow a thicker skin. 2 x 5 run penalties for swearing hurt them.

It may have been for continual swearing which could have been deemed abuse I guess, but I was told a player was warned for swearing then when he responded with more swearing one of the 5 run penalties was handed out.

Not sure I have never seen it happen before.
What I found weird from what happened today was there didn't seem to be any bad blood between Nth Pines and OTH. Some of the Nth Pines lads have hot heads and when they were getting frustrated showed there frustration poorly which I guess Don didn't agree with. I think OTH still needed 80 - 90 runs when most the stuff happened but Nth Pines seemed beat once these things happened. I missed the first day so I could have missed something that happened.

Eastern park got penalised yesterday in grade 2 for the same thing, continual swearing 5 runs penalty, would have to go to extras as penalty runs.

One of the North Pines boys threw a ball at Don after the game! As much as you hate the guy, can't physically harm or threaten him.. should be a report and massive suspension. Ball didn't hit him but was traveling and would have hurt had it connected. Piss poor in my view!

OTH had the bye on the weekend, luxury of finishing top, progress straight to GF.. believe CU were nice enough to give them a friendly scratch match though to fine tune their already amazing abilities before the Grandy.

I must have missed the ball being thrown. Not good at all and hopefully the club looks into the actions of some. Nth Pines doesnt have the greatest image as it is and things like this doesnt do the club any favours. Mind you I think Don could have handled the situation alot better. I think he should write a note about learning people skills in his black book or just piss off from umpiring altogether as I am lead to believe he has not umpired all season but makes a comeback for the finals.
