Barnes from Paracombe not keen?

Good to see Steve Kav get a run. Having a good season.

Good to see your A2s fielding a team again cougar, but I see that they forfeited their second dig and gifted Mt Torrens an outright win. :?

Don't think anyone from Paracombe was keen. Torrens Valley have won 3 out of the last 5 shields without anyone from Paracombe. Why change now? ;)

yeah bloody Wambles has destroyed hills in the past couple of years, everyone trying to put him over the fence. He's my pick for player of the carnival on the field and Hunsie to put in an extra special performance off the field at the ozone.

Hunsie will have some stiff opposition from 'Slim' Johns and 'Mish' Bingos. Surely Wombles won't run through sides again this year, could he? Frohls has been flighting them well too ;)

They have an 'A' grade and a 'B' grade and an u/16 side combined with Macclesfield i think?
They returned to 'A' grade cricket after a lengthy absence about 3 years ago with a young side who struggled.
Have been competetive at times this season with 2 wins to see them currently sitting 4th out of 6 teams in 'A' grade but will struggle to win another game. 'B' grade currently 2nd.

Good on you for your honesty.

Regardless of who it is, they're should be something along the lines of a 3-5 year ban from courier cup competition if you forfeit a match.

for those who dont know Harvey Dawes passes away on jan 25th aged 62 from what ive been told was cancer.
Harvey was a life member for the hills cricket association and was a feared bowler in his day.
i had the pleasure to play against the great man.

My condolences to Jill and the boys.

agree Mags, Harvey was well respected around the HCA, was heavily involved in many Meyer Shield campaigns, is it ironic or fitting that he passed on the weekend the HCA regained the Meyer Shield?

Hills Hot Weather policy is senior games will be cancelled if the predicted temp is 41 or higher as at 9:00am the morning of game day. Link to the BOM http://www.bom.gov.au/products/IDS10034.shtml

Harvey Dawes, great man. Will be surely missed by the SCIB CC for his contribution over the years.
