Ahhh Jimmy Morris....Hits a long ball.

I have a feeling you are involved with Centrals or an Elizabeth side.
Do you know who I used to love watch bat.....Pickers from Centrals. He was a very classy player.

Did James Morris ever play at Central Districts??

Yeah, he played at Elizabeth Districts, then Smithfield then Penfield, went into the cricket wilderness after that, he could bat.

I would like to think so.....but after a dream run last season against the odds, I believe the Westerners will really struggle. Especially when they lose who they are going to lose. And its not to rival PDCA clubs either.

You'd think Two Wells will be too strong again. But they'll lose Pete Thomas to coaching a grade club, and I have a feeling Stamma may retire. His body is really struggling. The comp has really gone down hill which is sad. There used to be 3 or 4 powerhouses and a couple of teams who would snag wins from them....not these days.

Could well be the case, RR. Things went a lot better than anyone really expected last season. Players will always come and go. Hopefully whoever we lose will be replaced reasonably well by either kids coming through from B Grade or new players coming in. Let's just hope that whatever format the comp is in next season we get a reasonably competetive grade one and no clubs stack a lower grade side to win a cheap flag.
