There was nothing mentioned last night about whether North Haven have decided to stay in section 1. Any news from NH?

Nth Haven have requested to go down to section 2. South Road will be in section 1 again in 2010/2011.

No changes from last season, however a motion was passed to allow the assoc to change the format of matches. Therefore it is possible to establish a one day comp in a separate section. Good result really.

As Phil was rambling on as usual I got a bit bored and thought of our non attendees from SAFooty!!

Congratulations to AF and TL for being nominated for the executive, why did you both not accept it??

So no talk or change at all in the 2 week final system we have? Seems like common sense and fairer to have 1 vs 2 and 3 vs 4. Happy things didn't change at the AGM but not sure why this wasn't?

Some one needs to put a motion in mate for it to change.

Why put in a motion bazza when the association will not even follow correct channels. "who wants the league to stay as it is" is not the correct means to discuss a motion whatever it may be. Surely if clubs put in motions to the association they should be taken seriously and voted on appropriately not as was done at the association meeting this week.

Each motion was still voted on individually!

If keswick wanted there motion to get up, maybe you should have thought about maximising your votes! 5 out of a possible 10 votes was not a smart move really ...
Or even if your that confident with the motion, maybe approach clubs and see what they feel and explain things to them and maybe that would change some clubs votes!
