hehehe, yeah, just like we had Sheidow just where we wanted them - we only need 280 to get the win ;)

Is it my imagination or have the ladder percentages had the first week taken into account? I'm pretty certain they have.

I'm not sure I agree with that. The circumstances aren't equal as only one week was played. For example, if you batted first week, played on a tiny oval and cracked 400+ runs. It *should* even out the 2nd week as the opposition would likely be able to score at a high rate as well. But since its only one week - you get the benefit of having that score added to your cumulative runs for the year.

I see WYC's percentage has now topped 2.0 and has exaggerated the gap with ICC's.

Might not be a big issue and probably not. I still don't agree with it though in principle.

Edit: made it initially sound like I was having a crack at WYC which i am certainly not

I did notice that as well RB and i was surprised to see the scores count towards the quotient. I guess they have to as a side like glenelg actually won the match on the first day so you have to count the runs and wickets for them so you must do it for all.

Pivotal match in the make up of the 4 IMO is this week, WYC v Glenelg (or it may be 2nd to last round).. that could just apart rule out Glenelg ANA...

And rumour has it that bazza was distraught that the 10man North Haven didn get the chance to get the win against WYC because of the heat yesterday?? any truth in this bazza??

did the association side play today, if so howd they go?? or was it cancelled due to the heat??

I was devastated, with J.Whenan gone I thought the Glue of the team had perished and the other 15 Whenans that play for WYC would curl up into a ball and wouldnt be able to play. Also with the other lads that have Boy crushes on him I was hoping that they wouldnt perform to to there maximium level. All except Russel King.... Proffesional personified.

You are right Bazza with the Jake gone no one would've been able to perform and you would have made the runs 3 down with Bazza 180 not out off 60 balls ;) . Russell is a professional we are just yet to see what he is professional at :D, coz it certainly ain't cricket.

Being a past player of Plympton there is not much training that goes on Bulldogga55. I have been past the oval a fewtimes this season on a Tuesday and a Thursday whilst having glider lessons and all of the people that were at the training where sitting around in a circle singing songs. Can you please explain to me Bulldogga what this is about

Hey! I went to school with Brenton! Good bloke...

Unless the current high decides to sit on our collective face for an extra day, we'll be playing Saturday. I just don't see it staying for that long. I'm an amateur at this, so I'll leave it to Bloods & Brenton ;)

Is it wrong to say I'd be happy if we don't play again this Saturday? Damn it was nice to have a weekend off... anyone else agree?

Im not sure if it has been mentioned before but, would it be a bad idea if the association said now that if the temp is going to 40c during the finals series that the games start at 10:30 am and finish at 3:30pm and 2:30 for sect 2 and under so teams could be out of the heat of the day. Not sure if they could do this under the constitution but it would eliminate the frustrations that happened last year. I think the southern association done it last year.

Not 100% but im fairly sure that Southern was the same and the highest side went through dont hold me to that but im pretty sure that was their prelim round as well. Also with all these new Plympton alias showing up and the sudden disappearance of Jabber which one is he????? Seems we may had hurt his feelings and he may be looking to hide.
