I still cant believe that he is allowed to umpire in this comp after this and what he has done to our team previously (hell we have called a NEK batter BACK after he was given out on such a bad decision!). For the Association to have a meeting and agree that Dutchy was allowed to bat and then for the umpire to complain and over rule.... sorry but that is just BS.

I guess it didnt matter anyway as all they would have had to do is hit Dutchy on the pads and he would be walking back... no matter what line the ball was on.

I know George personally, and he is a good enough bloke if your on the right side of him but is definately a blatant cheat no doubting that! You can ask anyone who knows him. The fact he was allowed to umpire a NEK semi as well has got me beat, the bloke knows half the team and lives 2 blocks from the ground!

I can recall many of Georges dubious decisions, even a few in my favor and a couple in an assoc. u/21's match

That is a big call PG!!

I doubt the association would like anybody from any team coming out with that statement unless you had absolute proof!

Yo'll be right mate, it's just a small portion of your $80Kpa.. ;)

HAHA yeah if i win enough ill get over 100k and become eligible to play for PV!! :P

As previously stated, it goes on average, so with Ace there, I was still 'averaging' over $100Kpa when I was unemployed at Xmas.. ;)

One assoc game i came to the crease and he said "first ball will be a no-ball"

Sure enough it was, i also was caught behind same ball.

Did the same thing when another bloke came to the crease in the same game..

He may not be a cheat but certainly "favors" those who he knows... Unfortunately your right and i have no absolute proof only my word, but ill be playing div 1 next season and look forward to benefits :P :P

So what needs to be done to address this ridiculous issue of CCC&A engaging and paying this so-called umpire that constantly exibits unscrupulous behaviour and possesses no integrity whatsoever?? It's now beyond a joke.

It's a shame Hendo's not here so I can ask him how the bruise on his hip is that somehow rendered him LBW, as adjudged by this same 'official'...

I'd stick my hand up too if I didn't have a boat... ;) Or you can just "do a George" and be so hated by teams/clubs that they pay you to sod off and go elsewhere - $70 a game, so if 3 lots of teams tell ya to f&#* off, that's $210 per game.. :P ;)

Just heard an interesting comment from an Enfield B grade player which you Enfieldians might find interesting..

After all your talk defending your C grade and promoting your B grade i heard that no one from your C grade went up to the B grade when you had the one day game vs CM late in the year, instead opting to allow your B grade to play with 7 players!

tsk tsk

The president of the association knows that George is a blatant cheater
and knows that he dislikes a few clubs in our association, but especially PV. ( i know this as a fact )
He is also aware that George has pysically threatened a member of PV because of a simple misunderstanding.
George must be stopped from umpiring any games within our association, he is a blight
on our game and must be exiled.
This problem will not go away, until he does!

Interesting call OBB.. In the 94/95 season, the Association decided that PV's B Grade was the 6th strongest team in the competition, so PV Blue (A's) and PV White (B's) both competed in Div 1. The end result?? :?: PV Blue def. PV White in the GF that season. Never say it can't be done. ;)

Congratulations to N.E.K. the churches teams should be thankful that the Independant teams joined the comp or it would be the worst going.

It was an amalgamation. It wasn't a takeover and the IC teams did not JOIN the Churches comp. It has been for the benefit of the both the remaining SACCA teams AND the remaining IC teams. There's also a team from PDCA as well that quite easily could've been playing in a GF next week, let's look outside our own little bubble for 5mins.  Don't talk garbage.
