Adelaide Suburban Cricket Assosciation.

Local cricket is the go here. Any talk about local comps, grade cricket, etc.

Having a look at the games to go - Plympton have a fairly favourable run. Sheidow can still do it, but will likely need an outright.

It could all come down to the last round which is an absolute cracker for current finals contenders all needing to beat each other:
ICC Sharks v Sheidow Park
Western Youth Centre v Coromandel Ramblers
Keswick v Plympton

And with Glenelg playing North Haven - there's an outside chance of an outright opportunity there.

I think we'll start to see some inventive captaining to get teams in a position to get an outright. As I see it, really only ICC & WYC are considered safe, spots 3 and 4 are very much up for grabs.

I haven't seen Jadd bowl for years and he doesn't seem to be taking bags of wickets so not sure what impact he will have, but a good leggie will always take wickets in our comp IMO. I haven't seen much of Moore either but he seemed to bowl pretty well against us earlier in the year without much luck.

You are a certainty to make the finals in 08/09. Stop trying to deflect the pressure from yourself :D ;)

Have heard Ross has been able to manage diving training workloads and it does effect his cricket on Saturdays. In fact, he trains up to 15 hours a week at the pool, pursuing gold in London 2012.

Perhaps this is why he is having such a lean year. Perhaps Diving, will provide more succes for him as his cricket ability is well below par and i consider him to be very lucky to hold his spot every week in that Agrade team considering Plympton are in with a chance for the finals. Surley there must be someone from the B-Grade or even C-Grade battling to take his spot.

Well put Bulldogga55 , Ross is having a very poor year, everyone talking at the club about him to, people thinking that Quinton would be more usefull than Ross. I just hope that diving is the right decision. Maybe ballett is more up his alley.

i believe it is time to get off for young Ross Moore, his body shape is much more made for diving. I think he specialises in the 20 spring board. plugger12 is Ross in your top 10 because you only know 3 peoples names at PFCC or you just have no idea.

[quote="TTJ"]hunter how come bayboy didnt put the pads on last weekend???? herd that the little master had a night watchman.....

Yeah TTJ needed to save th star bat in the side for the 2nd week. And he said his gear was too far away! He is a nervous starter too so 9 balls to face not really ideal.......so he'd rather sacrifice another player in the side!

Cheers TTJ..
Good luck to everyone back there, looks like a great run home to make the year interesting!
Pivotal match in the make up of the 4 IMO is this week, WYC v Glenelg (or it may be 2nd to last round).. that could just apart rule out Glenelg ANA...

And rumour has it that bazza was distraught that the 10man North Haven didn get the chance to get the win against WYC because of the heat yesterday?? any truth in this bazza??

did the association side play today, if so howd they go?? or was it cancelled due to the heat??

In a good position to win i would agree Plugger but having them on toast i wouldn't say that with 243 on the board. They bat very well.
