Wouldn't be the worst move.. although highly doubt OTH would choose to bowl considering batting is their strength, wouldn't want to give CU any sniff..

Nah, i just wrote it for the hell of it...
The humidity is 20% higher on Sat compared to Sun which is more conducive to swing bowling. Combine that with the slight possibility of rain and the reduction of overs would make you tinker with the idea. I know as a general rule in finals if you win the toss then you bat first almost every time....However its always good to know how many you need and how quick you need to score at. I just have a feeling Rosies and Goats may send the oppostion in and back themselves to hold their nerve chasing with a secure line up and the right temperament. Having outlined all this it would still take some big hairy aggots to win the toss and elect to bowl in a final! Some would see it as risk/reward but most would see it as stupidity!

Rumor has it Merlin to do the SW v R&C game.. could be interesting, last two games he has umpires R&C in grade 1 has been against SW and he has had 2 howlers! Wanna have a good game... or l'll run you over in my car

Also interesting to see Kershaw & Costanzo recalled for the finals.. Westies run the risk of being a batsman short if they bat tomorrow with SANFL trials on..
