As for being disappointed, of course we are! Great comeback. Not!

Infinity, 'Burging Turds?' Yeah, I haven't heard that before. You should go count to infinity for a third time... You might think of something just as creative to post whilst doing so! :)

which grade at your club won the Grand Final?

sorry i will rephrase that for you, your A grade should be dissappointed they choked trying to get the runs, again playing on a postage stamp, was told your illustrious captain after looking at the oppositions scorebook after fielding all day said "oh is that all"

will your A grade captain be able to still play on next year, now with commitments with the upcoming assoc. team and of course the former coach now playing at Para Vista.......

typewriter wrote:Yes. Let me rephrase that. We lost the Grand Finals, no-one is disputing that. If you wanna continue to highlight that, feel free! It doesn't bother us a great deal. We've won heaps of them! If you did play in this year's, like infinity implied above, enjoy your moment!

As for being disappointed we lost this year's Grand Finals (in circumstances described in whatever baloney you wish to post), of course we are, great comeback. Not!

"was told..." Well done you.

If he did say it, maybe it was because he was expecting a heap more, considering the way you played, not because he thought the boys would chase them easy... No-one from that team thought it was going to be a cakewalk... Why does everything he says have to be interpreted as cocky or sooky? Maybe because he is a successful player?

As for him not playing on because Wino wants to come back, where is the logic in that?

Is anyone on here intelligent like me, or are we all just counting to infinity? :)

sorry, that is a great comeback, u got me!!

Time to come up with some new material mate. That one's becoming a pretty tired line. :p :-@ i-)

As stated, it'll be interesting to see how Rose Lakes go being the hunted next year. The amount of piss and wind being blown around about winning a mere 1 premiership since stumps Day 2 in the GF has been quite staggering. It'll definitely take some extra-special performances next season to back up your oversized post-season gobs, that's for sure.

So we'll see how you chaps go striving for 4 in a row, and once you've ticked that box, maybe have a crack at our Assoc record of 8 in a row... Right! Hendo will be on the age pension by then, still insisting on bowling through the innings from one end.. ;)

You got ONE in a row. ;) A piss in the ocean in the whole scheme of things. You'll be running in with a colostomy bag swingin' in the breeze before your GF tally reaches 'dynasty' proportions.. ;)

Best thing that could've happened for the rest of Div 1 was ol' 'One Dig' DKL finally making a few runs in the GF and securing his tenure for next year, while we're on the subject of taking cheap shots at Div 1 captains. ;)

Goat , I am disappointed you have taken that attitude with me. Yes I still think I'm good enough to bowl all day and I think we are only as good as our last game but our last game was a premiership which apparently 250 wasn't enough. We at Rose Park will endover to achieve the lofty heights set by the mighty Para Vista. Please take it easy on us next season as we rebuild with our youth policy. Good luck at the carnival.

Having not played Rose Park this season gone and only reading some of the tripe they put on here what has happened. Are the new players they picked up total knob jockeys or have the usual suspects become totally arrogant because they won the grand final?

Don't know how make 60 odd in the most important game of the year and basically winning the game off his own bat is a cheap shot!?

From what I've heard, you may struggle to play A grade with the influx of players that will be playing at rose park next season, quite a few that want to be part of this dynasty!

Amaretti, you only get arrogant after you have won 4 in a row! So I assume you don't play for Vi$ta then?

Can you please engage a hotpies persona who has some grip of the English language to interpret what you're trying to ask here? :D

While you blokes are taking cheap shots at Fitroy's & PV's skippers, it's only fair you're own skipper gets put under the microscope. ;) If I was an opposition skipper, I'd rather him be making the decisions than 2-3 others in the side. Just saying.. ;)

And yet the record books will forever show that skipper making 70 odd in one of the best pressure innings/captains knock you'll ever see to win his team a Premiership & he'll now forever be a Premiership Captain, how many other skips did that this year in Div 1? Go grab a hanky & wipe ya chin GH cos you're dribbling shit yet again....just saying ;)

You make this sound so epic like its never been done in the history or cricket, I think when people look at the 'record books' I think you will find a better captains effort came from Richy Marshall when he made 120 in a GF when his side were 3/20 odd, not to mention his partner Jon Smith who also made 130, and he backed it up the year after making 60 odd in the following grand final, when you have a record like that come back and have a chat, as for dynasty's hotpies, well i'd say you have at least 1 going at your affiliate Mawson Lakes, and thats choking out in finals!!

yeah but Krafty, dont you know who Sir Richard Marshall is???? he is the greatest cricketer the SACCCA has seen, if not i suggest you ask him....so we expect that from Sir Richard Marshall.

choking out in finals? what you on about? i would say finishing top and being promoted up to a division isnt a bad thing, fair enough they lost the GF, but a club that gets promoted after spending so many years in Div 7 would still be a successfull year for any footy club?
