Maybe lastyear....bowled ordinary on sat....wellington and bedge by a mile..always rate a spinner willing to get them above eye level

Nick Marks (previously from ATCO) does a great job at that for us..

I think if either him or Leigh Harrison were still playing PDCA that they'd be in the side. Althought Leroy couldnt get a game for westies A grade towards the end

Willie Sewell should be in the senior side, open the bat, and then bowl his spinners?

We weren't allowed to take anyone from the 21's as they play on the same day and Bags had a prick of a time getting a team together as it was.
Willie, Woodward & Wellington would of all been around the mark otherwise.

Not really, has taken the gloves a few times and I don't recall him dropping any this season, he's pretty good with stumpings and his glovework is pretty tidy.
Tried BJ, Parkhouse and Crowhurst first to no avail.

Our keeper is handy and also made a handy 60 odd last week against sals west..will admitt in the sane game missed a crucial stumping but coming from indoor cricket he is generaly very good up to the stumps...to anyone... just thought that if the team is picked on performance this year, it would only be fair to pick a keeper that keeps week in to week out...bit like picking a all australian footy team with no ruck...

Your best keeper fields at cover. Would've thought he'd keep for you guys to be honest....regardless of how good he is in the field. Keeping is more critical in my opinion. Its not like you have to hide a lot of blokes.

Up until Sunday afternoon I thought BJ was doing the job. I don't disagree with you but you can only deal with x amount of rejection and the phone had been going spastic all day trying to get the ship back on course.
We wanted a team named on Sunday to give everyone a week to prepare and even that didn't come into fruition, I was still sending sms's and making phone calls late Sunday evening trying to get numbers of players.
Perhaps you could assist next season given your wealth of cricket knowledge and I rate you as a fair judge.

If only pg had facebook... seeing you post photos of "yourself "bowling might make him a better player....just curious, why not post them on the turf site aswell? Or is there a under 10s section for that..

Doesnt stop the fact that they were from 7 down.

Oz.. we are happy with noels keeping and is very good up at the stumps where bj isnt..and with our side apart from kenty being all gentle swing bowlers it comes in handy to bring the keeper up.
LM if i am playing next year and get asked to help i def would...
Would love to see a one off game a year against the Barrosa comp? needs to be changed up imo

Oh and I think PG is a good spinner, dont worry bout that, was only giving you a stat. Jaz would have bowled early most innings with the OTH attack.
