I dont think there is anyone that is consistently express these days. Jimmy certainly pushes them through at times and has everyone covered at the moment, but I really dont think anyone can claim to be scary quick.

Long gone are those days when there were quite a few floating around. But I think thats cricket in general, even a grade level, which is a shame.

Yeah, mid to late 90's there were an abundance going around, the one-dayers were a breath of fresh air.

Blokes i remember facing either in the nets or in game that were extremly quick were

Jason Mobbs
Steve Warren
Kenny McConnell
Trevor Bailey
Glenn North
Dwayne Jones (when he played)
Roy Laird
Troy Bennie (played a couple of games for Willaston was the height of Jonesey and even quicker)
Tomlinson (when he was playing at the Gardens)
Anthony Johnston
Ben Moore

Obviously i would have missed some and some of my recollections of their pace may be blurred by the fact i faced a couple of them when i was only 14

I remember Warren in a Grade 3 Grand Final back in 93/94. I was 14 and he broke one of our batsmans arms......I was due in next. That was awesome....not.

Glen North had everyone covered in his heyday though.

Totally forget about Aaron, left armer was probably the quickest bowler i have ever faced and probably will ever face, i genuinely feared for my safery facing him.

Lucky for me i only faced Garrard at the end of his career but he was still sending them down with reasonable wheels then so i could only imagine how fast he was.

I never faced you LM but apparently you werent the slowest bloke around either.

Garrard never liked me too much on the field either, especially one day when I opened the batting, the rib cage area become immune to getting hit, I learnt how to fend them off Geoff Marsh style.
I never faced me either so I can't really answer that, it seemed a bit more fun from my end though some days.
