yep do you know what happened Bulldogga? is my tale of events accurate?

sory about the Lateness, Plympton were batting at the time and there was catch taken and The umpire deemed it to be a "Bump" ball and not out. I think big Mal had a few words to say but i dont think there was much in it personally. Two games a little bit harsh i wouldve thought, unless Mal had a prior record which iam was unware of.

Plympton vs ICC (Sect 1)

Plympton batted first and got off to a flyer being around 0/30 off 7. 3 Quick wickets fell to put ICC on top. Plympton battled hard through Hocking (60ish), Pritchard (40ish) and Naismith (50ish) to post a competative 10/247. Best of the bowlers were Buttfield and Sampson, whilst ICC's fielders looked disinterested at times. With the Sharks' batting depth and skill, should be a cracking 2nd week.

Should be a good afternoons cricket BB. I think it'll be tough as they have proven batting lineup strengthend with Leggard back with them but cant see why we cant knock them off. We'll have to bowl pretty consistant and early wickets will be the key. Huge ground and slowish outfield plays in to our favour too. Mickalak,Moore,Pritchard and co will all have to fire up and wouldnt it be great to beat them on their home deck after losing the Un-Loseable game to Coromandel lastweek.

I have to get something of my chest which has been bothering me..... I hav been appauled by some Western Youth comments on this forum about Plympton... Some words have been used on this forums which i'd say as being insulting!!!!!! All i say for your sake is that i hope you don't eat your words!!! Just cause we don't tuck are shirts in or a couple of are players wear shorts, were still more of a club then you guys are................................. We have alot of history in this association and we HAVE been VERY successful (alot more then you guys).... All i'm saying is when you choose to disrespect us just remember we have been in this association from the beginning and WE won the 1st premiership, you guys have achieved NOTHING yet compared to us!!!!! You call us Bums, ferals, wankers and i know you have NO respect for us, which in my opinion is a good thing......... To finish. Remember what you wrote about us, cause i PROMISE we won't!!!!!!!!!!!!

That will be a tough total to chase on Hackham oval. Sounds like the Plympton boys did well to bat the day out against a good attack. I heard Sampson hit Giersch in the head and bowled him the next ball. He has been bowling very quickly this season Sampson and i wouldn't be surprised if Giersch isn't the last guy that wears one from Sambo.

The sarge batted all day for 130 odd Not out absolutely chance-less. Well supported by Sammy Fos at 3 who smashed 61 but was unlucky to be run out looked on his way then another middle order collapse. And it seems ive now found the curse of our middle order. Then Jozwa 47 joined Macca to put on 92 for the 7th wicket in quick time. Think this may almost put Sarge top of the runs maybe Hopkins and Sampson still to bat ahead but not bad seeming he has missed 2 matches already.

Yep he is having a super season isn't he. Too good for this comp IMHO and should be playing district. Should be a good chase for the ramblers next week. Lets hope shediows bowlers back up the batsmen this time ;) .

Probally a much stronger attack with Jib and Cookie bowling well and the machine Keith Clements back for this match and Fossy and Macca to bowl alot of overs with guys like Benny Lane probally not required should be alot more switched on with no more room for error really.

Bowled a bloke Saturday, had the next bloke plum LBW first ball,on a hat trick.

Let the hat trick ball go and the stumps fall over! The stump wells very dry and hard to get the stumps into the ground properly. The batsman asking me "How'd you do that?"....

We called it a dead ball then he ....plays and misses D'Oh!

Couldn't agree more. Possibly one of the best controlled innings I've seen in section 1. Even as an opposition player I was raving about it to our team as that's how you bat.

And after that, he helps carry in the matting as the rest play with a soccer ball... (I'm looking at you, JB).

That last game your batsmen made 287 and you lost so hopefully with another good total on the board you will look after the batsmen and bowl the opposition out for less than what you made.
