Well done Units! Two Wells always very beatable as too are Westies and Gardens.
Could go any way.
Couldn't really care really, we gave it a crack and didn't pan out. I get to relax next week and watch cricket.
Bit concerned that your team made it into finals and the first thing your thinking about is me froffies.
Be interesting if I got to umpire yr game next week... ;) Gardens are a nice bunch of blokes and deserve every success lol
With that... a slight deflection to the next topic!

I don't reckon I'll play anyway... Old man wants me to play but Salisbury North have a footy trial so pretty keen to catch that.

Angle Vale d R&C by 2 wickets, then R&C batted 14 overs for about 100, Brookes put on a power hitting master class. Angle Vale picked up a couple wickets to give themselves a chance of avoiding relegation.

Central united needed 18 with 5 wickets in hand and 9 overs left, but choked and lost to Craigmore.

OTH v CU @ OTH
SW v R&C @ SW

ATCO & Angle Vale relegated.

Craigmore 9/221

Units all out 220.

Great game for the Craigmore lads, avoided relegation when it looked very unlikely.

About time we got a top 4 scalp, pushed Rosie's & Westies in the 1 dayers only to lose by a small margin.

OTH favourites for the flag?

Don't know about that. This is one of the closest finals series I can remember for a long time. There's going to be some ripping games in the next couple of weeks.... Can't wait ;)

Wow... good work craigmore.

Unbelievable end to the days play with Units requiring 5 runs to win off 6 overs with 4 wickets in hand!!! The Blues sneaking home by a run... Never looked likely all day until it all turned very late, just goes to show you never chuck in the towel!
Good luck to all four sides in the finals. Rosies are professional and consistent, the Goats are probably the bookmakers favourites, the Units are the underdogs and Westies are always a threat and just know how to win finals. My tip: Sals West.

An in form top order should be able to chase down any score come finals.

And the mind games begin. Nice deflection Oz but we all know chasing in finals is a bit different than chasing in minor round games!

Deflection ? I'm just a retired, interested observer who'll be overlooking the finals in my deck chair with my turkey and cranberry baguettes.

They finished top... two blokes over 500, another two over 300 and another that hit 160 a couple of innings ago...

OTH beat units twice, beat rosies and just made light work of SW last game, so if anyone doesn't think they deserve to be favourites then they have rocks on their head!

Does it matter who wins the flag? All you get from winning it is self satisfaction. I can get the same self satisfaction by touching myself over the "my friends hot mom" category on my favourite porn site rather than wasting both days of my weekend in the heat playing a very mediocre standard of cricket.

Nope doesn't matter man. You're right tho, we should all just play lower grades and have a mouth that even Ron Jeremy couldn't fill....
