I think its a bit harsh on tarca. He had a decent year with the bat. May not look the most convincing but still contributed to the team. I agree with most of the others. I think Thompson should be captain. With the mouth he has, anyone would think he bowls 140+km/h. He got hit for about 5 6's against us and bowled some absolute tripe. M. Sandford v/captain!

This post is nearly just as tripe as your bowling.....

how does Gully not get in starting team, didnt he take 5 for in assoc match this year? surely better than A.Roling?

Also how do you not pick superbad???? he is the future!!!

Interesting side :? You would know more about Wehrman than me, and no disrespect to the lad, but he hit a tick over 300 for the season and 200 of those came in two knocks at the end of the season, would've thought bit more consistancy would be a requirement?

Gully as your 12th man, you must have rocks in your head! Arguably the best bowler in the competition, just unfortunate he is at a club that struggles so doesnt play div 1 and doesnt have other good bowlers to help support him.

A. Roling? Is this one of those sympathy picks?

L. Mills - when has he ever put his hand up to play assoc? As far as i'm concerned if he hasn't been interested in the past then wouldn't even waste my time considering him..

What would be the average age of this side anyway? Although i'm sure hotpies was taking the piss a bit with his comment about superbad, surely you do need to look a bit to the future, these blokes wont be playing forever then who will you have?!

Wehrman is a decent bat phantom, somewhere between a 250-500 run a season bat, so puts him in the top 5-10 depending on form. As for super, really took some backward steps this year in his development and if i was coach id be looking at Harris or the triannos(?) lad as future draft picks. Borgas is young, but i heard, unconfirmed of course he might be going elsewhere. A.Roling is a decent bat and when he makes a big score the runs will really flow.

On the bright side there should be some serious competition for carnival spots and hopefully some hard decisions to be made which is a sign of a decent comp. All we need now is a coach, has that been resolved yet anyone?

Actually with the Herder in a new personal best shape and given his career accolades could he be a sniff for one last swansong carnival?

Your kidding arent you? might as well send this team to the masters games and include I.Henderson? though in saying that herder would be a better option than superbad!

anything else PH?? waiting for you to say that you will be coming back to play in churches to also have one last swansong carnival...... of course you would choose to play in a non Div 1 side and sandbag yourself in lower divs like you have most of your career?
