well its been a huge couple days still cant believe we defended 95

Looks like it was the 1st time a club has won A1 and A2 premierships in the same year since Kapunda did it in 71/72, huge achievment for the club. Add the undefeated U14 premiers and things are looking good for the future too

Congrats to Angaston, that's a huge effort and speaks wonders of the club. You have definately set the bar and it's now up to the other clubs to lift.
Can definately see a real rivalry between you and Sandy over the next few years, both have really good depth across their senior sides and it's so important to have your second side in as high of a grade as possible. Most importantly though both clubs run excellent junior programs which is a credit to both clubs and with the numbers of juniors at those clubs it is a scary proposition for other clubs. Had a bit of a look at your colts on Saturday and geez there are some kids who will play a lot of A grade cricket in that lot, would of loved to get there Sunday and see them bat.
Once again well done and hats off to your players, coaches, committee and volunteers on an amazing year

Yep, can't argue that its a great effort

(Freeling won all 3 senior grades back in 2012/13 but we were in the A3s not 2s)

Hamley Bridge the newest club to join the BLCA. They have reformed after a 6 or 7 year break. Will be in A3 and A5

Great to see clubs reforming. Any idea how the club got themselves back on their feet?

Reflects pretty well on the Barossa comp that the number of teams and clubs continues to grow.

Yeah great news. Not too many amateur sporting comps around that are actually growing - well not footy or cricket at least.
