We played Enfield Bs (Div 4) on it yesterday and it was very green and had nothing wrong with it, except the long lush grass made it difficult to score boundaries.

thats why you hit the ball over the boundary Ecky

clearly you have never seen ecky play

After looking at the results on the weekend, it doesnt look like Ecky should worry about his batting. His bowling is going A-OK.

Is Adelaide Lutheran still got a team in this comp?? who plays for them?
I played churches for a few years with Concordia until they moved to turf, always had good rivalry with Adel Luth, prob cos we shared the same home ground...
Also remember a few firey encounters with Enfield, their captain in particular.. Left arm bowler.

Ahhh the left arm bowler be one of two I reckon with O'B (Pete O'Brien) or Trev Clisby

The Bear has a habit of getting bowled often. Its definately a flaw in his game that has never been fixed. That and the cut shot which also brings his downfall on a regular basis. Still, we can't all be bloody Bradman.
