what i heard from his mouth could only be described as disgusting........ he threatened to "F*** them up the A*** while they're having a W***."
is this an Adelaide & Suburban trait, or just a one-off from morphettville park?

Let's not go and blow this out of proportion though ladies & gents.
It is NOT an A&SCA trait, nor is it a Morphettville Park trait.
What it is, is a cricket trait, which may be a bit over the top in graphicness.
Every club would have one bloke that gets a bit carried away, and knowing the angels at Sheidow Park, they probably were saying nothing on the sidelines to stir up the said MPCC player either.
Play on.

I know Sheidow Pk were about 4/20 but ended up with 140 odd with Neally hitting about 70*.
We were never in the hunt and were rolled for 50 odd.
In the earlier games Sheidow Pk made around 170 and keswick fell about 30 short chasing it.
Morphettville Pk made about 170 as well with Paterson making a very good 88.
We chased it down with 2 overs to spare 4 down i think.
How did the games at Cove's Oval go?

The drinking on the boundary line during a game does bother me, and I am sure Ross may have something to say about this tonight. Our players did not hang around because, as I understand it, having no chance of progressing further, they made their way down to support our Under 17 side which was on its way to a convincing outright win over unley.Kenny Rippett wrote:Moe wrote:Sorry everyone, I dont even know the result to yesterdays game let alone know of what happened in the sledging department.

Maybe it is a MPCC trait. I was out there batting on Saturday when we heard some bugger in the cordon say to the fella on strike. 'Let's get in his ass.' Among a few other profanities. I'm not complaining about it. We had a bit of a laugh in between being really confused as to some of the sledges that were being created.
The interesting thing Sunday was the fact our boys weren't even playing in that game when the sledging started. The bloke just decided he wanted to fire up coz we were cheering one of the many great shots from Hoppy during that innings.
Disappointed the MPCC boys didn't stay to watch the rest of the show though.
Almost forgot to mention the two Morphie players who were drinking beer on the boundary in the middle of the over during their match against WYC. Full of class

Yeah we're a pretty tight knit community here in the A&SCA. This how ever may just be beyond the closeness shared by a few of the lads in this comp. However i dont think anything should be taken from this. Just a fired up bowler who was having an off day. Full marks for the originality of the comment though.
And also of course to the sheidow lads who got it out of him ;)
