Yeah i know WIW24 did talk it up ,but hey why not must say tho the past 2 games we have not had full side but this should be no excuse,we should of beaten Elliot think we went into game think we had already won,and on weekend we blew it big time droped 4 catches in last 5 overs and bowled like shit gave away 12 wides so theres two more overs +runs there alone, think there may be some changes this week,u guys are going along ok,how about B Wilson start to year COY on the cards there the guys a gun.

heard goolwa have lost a couple of players this week!
L. Spurling and C. Heyward, two handy batters and a good bolwer.
gona have to really pull together as a team if they want to get any further this season.
drove past their training tonight and wasnt very promising had about 3 people bowling!
good to see there b's and c's net tho few names out there.

who's everyones tips for this weekends round?
E.bay to bet mt compass maroon think ebay a goood team and should get up over mt compass
willunga wil destroy goolwa! need the captain to do something or evans will find his team not playing finals once again
mtcompass gold to bet mclaren will be a tough match! big names in both teams think B. Wilson will play a huge part!
aldinga should get up over port elliot, altho if they snag bryce early might be a chance!

two dayers big chance for some teams to make an impact.

How can you possible know the circumstances behind who is doing what at a training session of a club you are merely driving past ? It amazes me sometimes how judgements are being made on this website on clubs or players with no real evidence to back it up.
Some fielding, some bowling ----- a structured session. Sounds like a good team to me !!!!!

as predicted 3 months ago by many, goolwa are a flop.

turf on the weekend was wet but was just as bad for both sides. wasnt like enc bay got the rub of the green. were just far too good for a very ordinary pt elliot side. worst bowling line up in the comp i would say. only reason the runs were made quicker was 4 out of 6 balls weren't reachable. tiny wanted an early arvo and didnt call them wides. clarkey was the only bloke to show any sort of resistance with the bat. the rest just folded like cards.

was also good to see mods hitting some around the place. half a dozen absolute tracer bullets to go with the miss hit that went for 6 over long on. glad i dont bowl to him.

I think Goolwa are underperforming, but they really are dangerous on there given day and cannot be underestimated
They have a few Wiley vetrans in "Ray Romano Vincent" :prayer: and Robert Lose which can prove a handful and some young guys such as Luke Bailey and Andy Evans who will come into there own sometime in the season, and with L . Spurling bordering on a big knock cannot be far from a win.

Port Elliot are always going to be yo-Yo like in there first season...Clark is solid =D> , but guys like captain Hack really need to stand up...He is the heart and soul of PE and all the best to the boys..

I think Aldinga arent as bad as people think and maybe contenders this year, Garrard Boys as Well as Piggy if fired up may suprise
Encounter Bay have landmines everywhere in there team, but consistent perfomances will be there key, Lintern, Moller, Foggo Borthers and Modra keys....
McLaren have a young side but some cagey older guys now such as Petrucci, Wilson and Ifould. Will be thereabouts
Compass Gold is the side to beat reigning premiers are dangerous especially with young bowlers and Nash, Num Braidwood and Connor is proving that the captaincy is not affecting his cricket with some great knocks..
Compass Maroon are young will struggle but with Chopper Reed and Binns will be around the mark and will sneak a few...

Crickets Back get into it

good luck for the weekend Guys!!!

wouldnt say worst bowling line up at all when does a team get cleaned up for 66 then roll dingy for 48??? thats a good bowling line up, encounter bay are all talkers with two great players cammi lintern and butler but hes a hit and miss!, and lets think about folding like cards your opening batsmen folded your middle order folder and modra..?? are you kiddin !! he should exchange his bat for either a piano or a tennis racket he may play them better! u cant claim a good win on a pitch like that and look at ebays results 9 for 58 at home?? so much for good batting line up ! think your words need to be choosen wisely as elliot arent as bad as you think they are

yes rumor correct, batting first in cloudy conditions keith schofield reacked havoc snagging G.Smith inside edge onto his stumps then very next balll clarkey gloved a rising short ball with J kuss and H Robertson they tried to consolidate seeing out 10 overs till robertson skyied a great ball by schofield and with that came a tumble of wickets keith took a impressive 6 for 9 off 17 straight overs to have elliot out for a paultry 66 with dingy lookin the goods elliot came out with a fire in there belly and must had there wicket hitting radars tuned in with a stunning bit of bowling......francheshini skyied a great ball from kuss then kuss cleaned bowled lishmund for a duck. which bought bryce"run machine"Garrard to the crease and when he was cleaned bowled middle stump around his legs by goldsmith the elliot boys had 3 for 6 and when M White was clean bowled to a gem by kuss they were 4 for 8 bringin the other garrard to the crease with young gun tregenza seeing them quiet easily, the pair looked to settle untill ,tear away quick H Robertson cleaned up Tregenzas middle stump and elliot were right in it ,when B johnstone had garrard caught at point it looked to be a fairy tail and had aldinga 7 for 48 , when Goldsmith returned with the ball he had stranewitz bowled middle stump very next ball schofield had his middle stump uprooted and with a hatrick in his eyes goldsmith came charging in and took the last wicket clean bowled to finish with his first hatrick and impressive figures of 4 for 8 of 5 other stand outs J. kuss with 3 for 19, b. johnstone 2 for 7 with 5 overs remaining aldinga claimed the 21st wicket of the day with kuss playin on to his stumps theres still 70 overs to be played and any thing could happen.................there you are boys pick at that

rocky your half right, your team are a flop big deal youve made the most runs but you still havent had a win what does that say??? and first game of the year anyones game ey..? yous should have came into that game knowing we cant lose ths yet yous didnt do much if elliot arent as good as you think why couldnt you beat them?? rocky players will leave your club with the amount of rubbish the hyracky talk as youve seen two goolwa lads left and will be more to come and the 2 that did leave one had your side in shambles whether the ball was so far down legside to hit or not yous should have capitisled! and compass gold had you had some real A graders droping dollys on the boundry you may have won too but hey with results this week end anything could happen lets just hope your two day format proves what your sayin yes you have quality side but a quality side not winning doesnt say much for the goolwa cricket club

also the pitch had dryed up remarkably by the time ebay batted we had the stick of it wet from morning due and the sun was out all day so it was a toss to win!! i think if encounter bay have a turf wicket they should invest in some mats to cover them coz its a bit hard on any team to play on the crap track

Well it is about time this site got an even bigger IDIOT than me on here,BLOODS your dribble is total crap,Enc Bay are an A grade side and will see finals action this year,as for Aldinga well they have finished bottom for the last 4 years, big deal your port elliot boys bowled them out for 48 i would not be suprized if they still win on second innings outright as for you and your mate leaving goolwa thank god you did club has never been happier, maybe u should ask some of your mates what they think as they all seem to love the place.
