Might save Grange's season. Does the heat policy activated day 1 and no second innings next week screw the teams trying to jump up the ladder? Especially with one dayer to come final round. No outright poss. Looks like a few teams set themselves up to throw sides back in next week.

Wilkins and Neagle not playing for Hope Valley, so that 257 should be plenty. Payneham have certainly earnt their spot in A2.

There will be second innings played next week, assuming the heat policy isn't activated. Current forecast is 28 degrees, so the only change is that the team batting second can only face a maximum of 72 overs. Standard two day rules apply to second innings.

Some drama in the Para Hills vs Coro game?

Umpire issued a 5 run penalty for dissent

PH lost off the last ball

I must say, I don't have anything to do with ATCA but as soon as I heard and umpire stealing the limelight one person immediately came to mind, and sure enough, it was the umpire I was thinking of, he even wore batting inners while umpired for some strange reason.

Pretty sure he's tied up with A&SCA isnt he? Certainly a strange cat, but perhaps in future they could have umpires from a neutral comp.

I've coached junior and senior association sides and have always encountered some form of controversy over nothing involving him and his make-up.

You'd reckon this'll test the ATCA social media policy with what's being said online. The brothers might have a holiday coming up.
