you obviously captained a lot at Plympton Jabber

Captained 1 season of senior cricket in section 2, won every toss... Things went downhill rapidly once we hit the field!!

I decided to leave it to the professionals!

So you are saying that you are a good tosser jabber  . Maybe you should do that for the captain every game and then leave the cricket side of things to him :D ;) .

Won every toss and lost every first inings!!!

Yeah i should have tossed the coin, then jumped in my car and got the **** out of there!!!

Magnificent tossing abilities...

You rate yourself to much is there ever a post not revolved around you? I could had sworn you've taken 700 test wickets.

You can't be serious!!!

If you have a look at the last 50 pages on this forum its all about WYC "box smashing" sessons and Sheidow/WYC love me up sessions, and if its not that its CoverKing handing out opinons that nobody really cares about...

So the 2 or 3 times that i've been mentioned, i think, pales into insignificance when it comes to the junk that some galah's whack on here and palm it off as educated opinion...

I once got a 'stern talking to' on here about not talking about cricket, well what about some of the absolute trash that has been posted on here about whats going on at the hilton hotel or the 'might' of the Western Youth Bulls!!! There's a place for some of the s***t that gets posted on here, and its gay.com

Don't tar all with the same brush jabber. Agreed a few of the young fellas talk some sh!t but hey they are young and that is what young ones do. I am pretty sure that some people do care about what opinions others, including CoverKings, have as that is the reason we are all on here to see what others opinions are about cricket related things. I don't think there is anything 'gay' about what some of the sheidow and wyc boys talk about they are just good mates and enjoy having a beer together, sounds pretty Australian to me!

Im glad the talk has returned to cricket though,I must say.

If you want to discuss bashing or dancing it should be done on facebook or msn,not in here. The only thing with the 'young blokes' bloods is they forget that people on here will remember all thats written on here,so I would suggest they tone it down a little.

Its all good, i just dont enjoy being told that I rate yourself to much is there ever a post not revolved around you? I could had sworn you've taken 700 test wickets.

I counted three times that a subject has come up that involved me, and one of those was simply stating the scores from the week previous!!!

I know there are some decent opinions on here, You just gotta hack through the junk with ane axe to get to it!!

I wish it was all decent stuff, but the forum is riddled with filth that no-one cares about!

Prawn u r a fair galah but since the topic of when i used to be magnificent came up, then yes, yes it was when i used to take the new ball every week. I know of at least 300 good balls so far in my career at Plympton...

TightLines Jabber only has 300 test wkts or so he says not 700 and talking about himself again
Get back on topic please...this is garbage !!

jabber it was 1 of your mates on here (plugger i think, i cant be bothered going back and checking) that posted about how many different deliveries u have etc. so it wasnt entirely u that "talked yourself up"

i must admit looking back through old scorebooks u have ripped through us a couple of times back in the day but i would think the emergance of macca and mclaughlan in recent years at sheidow have seen us played leg spin alot better and smarter seeing asthough we have faced so much of it in the nets. so in recent years i reckon we have had the better of ya

Yeah i reckon plugger was taking the piss about my variation, just like i was taking the piss about ross moore being rubbish!!

I reckon my lack of "fitness conditioning" hasn't help my bowling in recent years (say the last 5 years), when u can't land them on the pitch you aren't going to take wickets...

Recently they've started to make thier way back to the pitch, novell idea i know, and i've got amongst them again, but they aren't ripping as far as they used to! :(

Yes he might make a mistake or take a while to pick up on certain batsmen, but then every captainwill do that and fields that dont apply or shouldn apply for certain batsman! he will learn n gain more experience as acaptain then he would as a player...IMO it shows how high he is regarded at South Road by his peers and committee and members...

he might gain experience as a captain but what about his cricket, he's made 84 runs from 8 hits batting at 6 or 7 with an average of 14, he would be better to prove himself in the grade 1st then captain the side...his bowling isnt too bad tho 10 wkts at 13
but still get ur cricket right first as there is plenty of time for him to capt his club after that

very true bay boy but i dare say he is picked on his bowling more so then his batting - well i would hope! and i think he can find improvement in his batting and become a decent section 1 number 5 batsman!

Firstly, now isnt ur entire thing EXTREMELY CONTRADICTORY there Jabber????
Secondly, how do u know we have not been spoken to about not talking cricket?
Thirdly, me handing out my opinions on what Jabber, the cricket and the untucked issue? i thought everyone had had there say and moved on from there? i still think it looks untidy but hey people do what they choose doesnt bother me!
and lastly, if ur talking about f****** galah's on this thing, you would be top of the tree...
and for the record if u actually look back, i do believe i talk about mostly cricket and just have a bit of "GALAH" talk every now and then...look on every topic in every forum, i wouldnt think there would be that many TOTALLY on the subject the entire way through...
so maybe keep ur OPINIONS to urself cause NO ONE CARES ABOUT URS! (and thats a fact).

now there we go thats out, i think Ramblers and ICC should get the outright in there respective games but i hope not for WYC's sake. I think Keswick, Sheidow and Plympton will all get up and us we should win (barring a massive collapse) and if we bowl well and get constant wickets the outright is not out the equation!
i hope thats enough cricket for u SMITHERS???

Nice to see the knives are back out when Coverking gets online. You are going to have to learn to restrain yourself in your new profession.

so what was wrong or different from what i said to what jabber said??
he has been talking just as much crap as anyone!
bring up somethin like "the untucked shirts" and jsut because u dont like it when y shining the ball (which i cant understand but im not a bowler so i take ur point) and Jabber doent agree with it, doesnt mean its a topic to be discussed or anything!
so sorry AF lets all sit here and listen to u be arrogant about how good ur side is (because if u look through i htink u have been arrogant/extremely confident about how ur side is travelling). We will wait for u too bring up somethin so we can discuss it or we will not use this forum...
and when else have i used the knives? i think ur the one that gets very touchy at times aswell AF, as with ur run-in's with other quality forum users on this site.

ramblers an upset win?? why is that JB..why would it be an upset? hearing from AF and looking at there results against quality oppostion i think htey should nearly start favourites...
and atleast u back ur talk up JB, and i read it and care about it ;)

and for the record, a very interesting run home for the 4...will be good to see a couple new teams in it and hopefully the race for the 4 gets closer every week so the last round ends with a nail biting finish..

Well im sorry for turning this forum on its head but Jabber i stick by what i say you seem to hold yourself in a high standard and you talk about Gallahs "Gutless spin bowlers??????????" Onya champ you open the bowling you are the greatest spin bowler around. Ive seen you open and it didnt work from what I remember our openers both raced out the gates scoring 144 and 164 on 2 different occasions when you opened but hay you got the GUTS to do it .
