Glenelg v Coro final i reckon. Coro are playing out of their brains at the moment and just have that feeling going for them. Glenelg to win it tho i think.

You change your mind more often than your under pants caleb ;) . You said Keswick were the best side you had seen this year.....................and they beat Coro earlier this year, not that it means much this weekend.

I do agree though Coro are playing very good cricket at the right time of the year.

A special hello and good luck wishes to the C Grade in Section 5. The C's haven't won a premiership in many years so all the best to you blokes, I wish I was out there with you. Go the A's too - BACK TO BACK. GO CENTRES!

Top 2 sides to make the GF in my opinion... Keswick v WYC. Toss of the coin as to who wins, quite literally, as I reckon whoever bats first will win it.

Glenelg/Coro worthy finalists too. I can't see it being an easy path to the GF.

well keswick are the best side i have played against all year. but i did say that before wyc got smashed outright by coro. lourens is bowling like a man possessed. if they can make enuf runs they have a great chance of knocking off keswick

Big call Caleb, especially with the form of Keswick and WYC finishing 1 and 2. Don't think Coro will make it but they deserve to be in the finals and with ANA think they will need a superhuman effort from their top order and Rowe and O'Malley with the ball.

Is it still 75 overs a side for all grades this week or do the lower grades play 60 in finals?

Seeing you're a Paul Tam permit away from relegation you could have started that "A" grade run all over again. Not sure if arrogant or elitest are right but they're close, especially in the 20/20s games. Getting guys out the bar to umpire last year and not even showing up this year are good examples.

Honestly, i think all 4 sides are just as capable to win the flag, and any argument for a side to be favourite at this stage of the year are fair enough aswell. With Coro beating WYC outright in rd 10 and then nearly another outright in rd 11, they go into the finals as the form team.
Keswick can be counted as favourites, as they finished top, have possibly the best 2 bats in the comp, and a good opening partnership with the ball, but only beaten Coro of the other 3 finallists and by one wicket aswell, could count against them. Glenelg ANA can go in as favourites as they were the form side of the first half of the year, have the best new ball combination by the length of the straight and have the 2nd highest leading run getter this year in their side.
WYC could aswell, altho after the smashing we received from Coro in rd 10, we bounced back beating Keswick and now take winning form into the finals.

Both games up for grabs, and whoever makes the GF are deserving, and it will be an absolute cracker of a game thats for sure.

Yes good luck to WYC against the persistent rival in Glenelg ANA. Will need some good performances by Press, J Whenan, Hoppie, Ben Mac and M Whenan to see them across the line. Back to Back is within reach.

Also good luck to the WYC 3rd grade on attempting to grasp their first premiership in quite a while.

I hope you are right RB with your prediction of the grand finalists.

I couldn't agree more with the comment i put in bold. It will be extremely tough to make the GF and even harder to win it. Going to take two very good games of cricket to win the flag this year.

Also, interesting to note that their will be definitely one A grade and one B grade side in the section 2 grand final.

If a B grade side wins Section 2, will the losing Grand Finallists come up for WOS? Im assuming if Warradale or Belair win the flag, they will definitely come up.

Here's hoping for Warradale to beat Belair, simply because its closer to my house and it doesnt cost to get into the oval ;)

Will Defiantly be a good finals run and although Coro have a very good bowling attack they will struggle to contain or chase whatever Keswick hit as Coro's batting didnt look the greatest outside of Cheek from what I saw but they are certainly the form side going in.

Also although we had a shocking last few games had we won our last 2 we could had been playing finals yet we lose and we finish 10th shows how even the comp was this year hopefully it stays that way for a while.

I think Sheidow Pk will benefit from the amount game time you have given to younger kids in the years to come as will Nth Haven.

South Road, Plympton and WOS have the most concerns i feel as they didn't seem to have young sides.

I think Plympton have juniors though so they should be right over the next few years.

Yeah we played quite a few Under 17s or there abouts who are all far more advanced then what alot of us were at that age and most work hard on the track to. Would had been great to see how our side would had faired had we kept our District players and others looks good on paper could had been a good year but we still had a good crack being very undermaned.

Also before i was going say I think WYC will take care of ANA to go through to the GF as well I think Keswick have the harder path though.
